Not very sure for night drive this time. Anyway, will keep checking the thread. There is a CCD on NH4 before Tumkur (it's probably just after Dobbaspete) if I'm not wrong. It's on left hand side. Somehow I really don't like driving on this road.

What do you mean by the other side of NH4? Even I am aware of the CCD which comes just after Dobbaspete and Barista a few Kms before that.

Not repeating the same road is a nice suggestion

But can anybody tell me where this trip is happening?

We are suggesting NH4 but then talking about a CCD near Krishnagiri?
My geography tells me that Krishnagiri in on Hosur road and Hosur road is NH7 and not NH4!!!
If it is NH4, then one side (or rather direction) takes us towards Tumkur-then we have a CCD near Dobbaspete
"Other side" of NH4 takes us towards Kolar-then we have a CCD between kolar and Mulabagilu
And to finish it, there was a meet already on the airport road(nandi trip) which is "the other side" of NH7

The other highways for future meets: (SH17 mysore road...finished)
NH48-Bangalore-Hassan...CCD near channaraypattana (too long a drive for a quick meet)
NH209-Kanakapura road...I don't have any info, any CCD/Barista????
NH207-its the connection from one side of NH7 to the other side of it...no info on CCD/Baristas.

I'll try my best to attend the meet but don't want to commit now itself.

I got confused with all the talks about Krishnagiri/Hosur(and that's NH-7, I got confused again) et.al after people were talking about NH4.

The drive shall be on NH4 towards Pune. (This eliminates all confusion regarding NH 4/7 and which "side")

I'm tentatively in but I might not be able to join as I've some other tentative commitments. Anyway, IIM-B rendezvous works well for me.
BTW, don't know if you guys have noticed, the NICE road after Mysore road is not so good to drive, very un-even surface. NH4 is breeze to drive nowadays.

When someone asked this question during the last meet, dreamcatcher said everyone would be tucked in their beds by 2am. As it turns out, we left that place only by 2.30am!

It is personal opinion actually. As such, the meet could go on till morning but people leave when they feel it is time to head back to get enough sleep for the next day. This said, you could leave when you feel so.

But expect to be back home by say 3 apprx.

EDIT : Yea, dreamcatcher is right. We left well past 3. I reached only at 4 myself! So, you get the picture!
