Guys, I am not part of the meet, so please do not think I am poking my nose here.
But if you think the traffic back up at EC Exit and next two tolls are too time consuming and go beyond an hour !!!!!

Why don't you consider taking the Sarjapur - Bagalur - Hosur - Krishnagiri route while going? On the return, you could still come back via EC.

Just thought of proposing this option if that helps.....

Does not make sense in the evening times. Especially dark hours. Better to be on the main road.

Even I would not prefer Belur to Hosur in night, been there done that too many times. Agree Attibele is going to be a pain but will still ride on luck

Is the time to meet at BETL Toll gate 7 PM or 7:30 PM? Would be hitching a ride in my cousin's Corolla, but doubt I can reach the meeting venue by 7 PM, more likely 8 PM. Hence putting my name as tentative.
