i live in basavanagudi , so i can take the sirsi circle flyover or nice rd ,, makes no difference ,, also , wha time are we meeting ip , and around what time will we be done , coz i need to work tomorrow

OK we had one helluva drive and a perfectly enjoyable meet at CCD Maddur , the guys who turned up are listed below

I picked up Mclaren from Hebbal flyover and reached the rendezvous point at around 2300 Hrs.

We started off from NICE road - Mysore Road juntcion at around 2315 hrs and after the initial round of pleasantries, zoomed off to Maddur and reached Maddur CCD . Enroute i also realised that the Yoko A Drives that I have put on my car the new 195.65/R14 also have the Tadu effect at sustained speeds beyond 140 kmph. I will talk about this later in a different thread.

Had some nice stuff to eat ( Idlies,parathas burgers, coffes etc ) and we were **** chatting with each other and doing some test runs on the cars with Dynalicious running on Tadu's Iphone ... i will let him elaborate on those figures himself.

And as we were getting ready to start back in rolls a Black swift with 6000K HIDs and chrome finish Alloys.And out steps Mag ! with three of his friends , now thats a surprise , and we catch up he tells that he is going to Gopalswamybetta and after that BR Hills. We we can look forward to some spectacular pictures from him when he returns or atleast that what he promised. :-)

The drive back was un eventfull myself and Karthik in his Peted Swift started off early and maintained a cool 130 to 150 KMPH till we reached the NICE road , there we waited for thee elantras and the RS to arrive after which we said our bye byes and we were on our way ... so here goes some pictures i took

It was indeed a lovely drive. Probably one of the best and most fun loving drives we have done in a long while. Thanks to all those who came.

@Mag: Hope you are alive . And your lug nuts didn't fall off on the way. Finding them in extremely foggy conditions is even a worse nightmare .

@vinay: Maddur is not the ideal place to test cars actually. The best place is Nice Road where it is a lot cooler. I think a stock Verna gave the best results. But 0-100 timings of the RS, elantra's, swift d, verna had very little difference between them. Max I guess 1 sec between all the cars. I think tadu & karthik should be able to give further details. But for that we will have to start a new thread. Remember? This is the quick meet section, not a feedback thread for dynolicious.

I enjoyed the meet from the start
Had a blast sitting as a passenger...in the vRS

The meet started from the Nice Road (Pit stop, where we all met up)
with a

1) Stage 2 SWIFT VDi (Karthik..correct me if I am wrong)
2) Tadu's
3) Satya's Elentra..
And the late entrant Hellstar

A good ...exiting and a VERY RESPONSIBLE drive from all the drivers..
Shows if you have the skill...SPEED ALWAYS THRILLS ..

Checkpoint was at Maddur's CAFE Coffee Day
The usual car discussions...mods (Music to the soul)

Then TADU comes up with his accelometer..this gets the spirits high with
Siddarth, Satya, Karthik and Hellstar wearing the tester's hat..do some good testing..while we see the cars zip past us.

After hanging around for 3 hrs (2.45 AM)..we decided to head back
@Siddarth: Thanks for letting me experience the wheel on the vRS (New found love)

@Rahul: great work dude..(I know I am repeating and echoing thoughts of other members here..but this guy should be a Distinguished BHPian)

It was a great meet..which was fun and exciting..
I know I am going to be a regular of these meets

ofcourse man the vehicle outperformed itself ! and i knwo that the car does even better with the Pete's and the Stocke replacement filter. but for that i will have to wait for another night drive !
