Guys,
Thank u so much for such lovely pics of the TT...
Its was one great drive..

Alok,
My sudden bursts were becoz evertime i had a diff co driver and he wanted to see the performance of the car so thats the reason.. Hope ur health is better.. Another thing about ur drive lines... Dont be offeneded..U tend to go off road on left handers and right handers... U over steer a bit.. I guess in a SUV u cant really tell the diff.. but in a car u will might have loss in traction...

Shirvz/TC/Moral,
Thank u guyz... Please feel free to buzz me anytime u need any help with your ICE.. Techno dont worry man... everyone has to have a start at some point in time or the other.. So please feel free to UPGRADE... Its a good habit to move up slowly...

Edmund,
I hope your bro is ok.. I guess he has no idea of a how G's and lateral movement can have trouble with the stomach part specially if it is full...
I hope all ur pals enjoyed the drive..

Rtech,
U will have a ball either in the Skoda or ur ZZR.. The roads are a diff ball game and specially with no on coming traffic to worry about..

Elf,
4.00am ... U sure.. Dont kid me man !!!!

Cheersssss

Great pictures Ed and Petrolhead!

To all those who were there and weren't there. Lets meet often from now onwards. I am sure everyone will vouch for the fun we had.

All the pics I see have gravel strewn on the corners. Was it just the few corners where you guys had parked, or is it the norm for that road?

yeah.. i noticed that too.. you were going off the shoulder of the road, picking up dust.. didnt really matter much on the Tucson (except for the car behind who always went into a cloud of dust), but on any other Sedan / Hatchback, as evo said, you'll lost traction and spin your wheels..

@Edmund: Great pics there!!! I sooo missed my camera! ...

RT, its only a few corners which have gravel, thats due to the few spells of rainfall we had during the week.. otherwise, the road's clean..

RT, like I mentioned to Gerard on the meet planning thread, the road is no longer safe for bikers who wish to go flat out or even attempt negotiating the road at a decent speed due to gravel on most of the ghat section. It can be declared risky for bikers!

EDIT: Shrivz, its on most part of the road after the dam. Me and Techno had experienced it on the bike ride. It doesn't feel much when you drive.

yup.. its not good for bikers on those tight corners and up the Lavasa ghat..
Mutha Ghat is pretty much gravel free, but there's a lot of gravel after the Lavasa dam...

Yes Rtech there is lotsa gravel now, this is due to the many trucks that go up & which carry construction stuff, so these days its not so great for bikes
