| Senior - BHPian  | Hey Guys... I'm in Pune and would like to meet up with you all. Was here since Tuesday and heard that viper was coming over. But work got the better of me and I couldnt make it.  I will be leaving for Chennai tomorrow evening and was hoping to meet up with the Pune gang - Shrivz, MF, Amey, Vikram, etc. I get off work at around 9.30 pm and we can meet for dinner if its convinient with you all. thnx. | Senior - BHPian | Wow what a super meet. We met at Oasis near Chandni Chowk. The resto was peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lovely place to hang out in pune. The group was at the venue at 2130 hrs but i made it more than an hour late due to work issues. Thanks for waiting up for me guys.  A BIG thanks to Shrivz for co-ordinating the meet and for taking a detour to drop me back to my hotel. Thanks a ton dude. I owe you one. Got to meet bhushan (Evo6), Raj, Hkanitkar, Amey, Vikram, Shrivz, Dhaval (Shravan ).Thanks for making it guys. I had a nice evening. Oral american fibre however was not able to make it to the meet. Kiran - wish you could make it man. Big thanks to Bhushan (evo6) for taking me on a short but insane ride on the sedate and understated looking but obscenely quick audi TT coupe (1.8L Turbo) souped up to 300 bhp. My reaction was a crazy and eerie laugh when i was thrown back into the seat upon evo6 exercising his right foot. The pedal was not even floored completely. The roads was full of turns and the TT's tires was screaming for mercy and the turbo whoosh (no BOV on this) was making my hair stand on its ends, forcing a laugh like the joker in the batman movie while the speedo read 130kmph+ on sharp curves. Bhushan was probably thinking, when he saw my reaction - yeh aadmi ko kya hogaya? (what happened to this man?) Before anyone might comment, i just want to say that the driving was in no way endangering anyone's lives or property. It was a short 5 min drive which was in no way scary or dangerous. Bhushan was in complete control of the car. Thanks again to the entire group for the lovely evening. I enjoyed myself. The ride on the TT was the icing on the cake. Thanks a ton bhushan. |
