why dont you guys plan a road trip to bangalore for the week end. I am leaving by train tomorrow and can hitch a ride back on sunday !

Hi Chennai Meet,
Photo meet would be a great occasion.The nearest and better photogenic places are of Mahabalipuram,ECR and Pondichery. How do you like.Of course I may be out of station.It is not sure,My tour will be finalized tomorrow.

My Thurs day tour also a long drive to Madurai with my students in My Car.Any how where ever you are all the best.

Anyone been here ?

This is a place called Kuvanmedu. It used to be a quarry before and now its like a crater in a Hill. It is around the southern suburb of Chennai.

One of the less known places. Note the two bikes far away.

Not sure, but is this one of the places the Jeepers (Arka and gang) go offroading ? That location also has quarries and craters filled with water.

I believe this place is off the Vandalur to Kelambakkam State highway. I have been to numerous similar quarries off that road during my college days.

This does not have that much space for off-roading. It will not be a bad place for photo shoot.

This comes on the other side. Branches off the GST road from a place called Singaperumal Koil.
