@vikram, not busy or anything - just not in town during weekends. Do ping me if you guys plan an improptu meet on weekdays.

Am actually doing quite some dragging on 2-lane roads in Kerala on the Swift. And it is fully diesel country there - mostly Skodas, Mercs, Innovas, Fords, Hyundais etc.

BTW, those 2-lane roads are supposedly National Highway, which is just .

Hi Guys,

We will heading out to ECR to test drive my Nissan 1 Ton with the
petrol engine before it goes in for a diesel conversion.

The Plan for 08-06-08

0530 - Assemble at Tidel Park
0700 - Regroup at OTR spot (Before Crocodile Farm)
0730 - Briefing and Introductions
0800 - Every Participant can take a round on the beach with pits and
climbs
1100 - Drive back to Chennai.

All participants can take the 1 Ton for a spin OTR through a few sand pits

ex670c, congratulations on your new purchase. Wish I could join you for this OTR drive. I will be doing something exciting enough on the same day though - driving a colleague's Fiesta 1.6 from Pune to Bengaluru while you guys enjoy the Nissan.

5:30 am is a bit too early for me, its the same site where we went offroading last time right , maybe will try to join up there directly around 8am or so. will confirm the same.
