The reference landmark for Marina meets : the Queen Mary's College entrance. There is lot of space to park the vehicles at this place, and it is usually less crowded, than the south side of the Gandhi statue.  | |

| Senior - BHPian | Keep the beach sands clean ! One interesting thing that I noticed this sunday :  This tractor was pulling a container, into which garbage was being loaded. It was then that I noticed that garbage bins had been lined up neatly at regular intervals in the Marina. I have not visitied the beach much recently, so dont know when this has been put up. Any info on this? So, a humble request , those who visit the Marina, please do use these garbage bins and do not litter the beach sand. The tractor-garbage-collector disappearing into the horizon after having emptied all the bins. Notice the garbage bins lined up neatly at regular intervals.  Notice anything special about this tractor?
