u hv mainly 3 kinds of places to put up.

The first being the modified locals' houses which let rooms. The ones i hv stayed in are pretty neat and clean with the basic amenities.

These are right on the beach. The one i stayed at is around 15 min walk from the calangute circle, along the beach.

Damn cheap accomodation. 300 per nite for 3 ppl

The other is moderately priced hotels, but the problem is tht they r never "on" the beach.. around 2-5 min walk frm them.

these r priced at 700-800 per room per nite.. hows many ppl stay in the room depends on ur bargaining power.

The third are decently good resorts wid pool n al.
These are around 1200 up again a lot depending on ur skills

If the better halves of ppl r comin in... i wud recommend the third

Else if only bachelors pouring in.. then 1st is the best... coz u r not goin to be in ur room anyways

Tell me... hv got a cpla nos for options 1 and 3

But pls have the heat factor in mind...

personally given the season we are goin in... i wud recommend the 3rd option of resorts .. n being off season they r virtually empty.. so u can get a good bargain

i think we can rule out option 1. stayed in those places you can practically do all three things in their bathrooms at the same time: shower/**** and shave. really tiny things.
i am game for options 2 or three. i would prefer an a/c but then its upto the majority. i can compensate it with a lot of ICE....

cost wise.. me repeating myself. ..that if u bargain good... option 3 wont come very expensv..

also, u get a resort on the beach wid all the facilities.. hence me vote for three...

What about mid-Juneish? Any BHPians open to then? Weather will be to die for...and we can have a well planned approach rather than getting it hasty.

Plus, I would presume that the advance period would allow a lot more BHPians to participate.
