| Senior - BHPian  | Micro-Mini Meet in Delhi Circa - 11th October, 2008. I was going through one of the threads on Travelogue, where I spotted (I'm very good at spotting Big Games  ) Speedzaks' location that happened to be Delhi. This intrigued me as I had no such information. Feverishly I SMSed a couple of TBHPians and immediately got a response that "Osama" was in town since Wednesday and that he was being chaperoned by our own "Tyrewaala" a.k.a Ishaan.Immediately called him up and after exchange of some pleasantries (read expletives) was told that they both were beering at Chona's in Khan Market along with Vcash. Zaks & beering, don't go together, so after some more 'pleasantries' I found out that he was milking...  Well, within 15 minutes I landed up there by 5:20 and shortly KP_Zen & Asthedvix also joined up and the five of us had a rocking time with bawdy jokes and loud guffaws. I had a whale of time and am sure the rest too would have. LBM promised to turn up but ditched as he was busy spotting 'birds' in Chankyapuri. In all of my 32 years in Delhi I have never heard of birds in Chanakyapuri. Must be the non-flying two-legged kind.. Must investigate. A couple of calls were made to Steeroid and Suman to share the evening. Ishaan, as usual was busy clicking photographs and for unknown reasons suddenly has become a die-hard fan of Yul Brynner, except that he lacks his height & gait. He should be posting these pictures soon after he has come out of his stupor. All in all a rocking evening. We finally dispersed around 9 ish. It did sound like you were having a blast, but it seemed like a very long evening to me (based on the time difference between the two calls, which was more like 4 hours apart and still rocking). So was it an Excess meet or a Surplus meet? | |

| Yes! 9pm. That was something we had agreed upon at the beginning of that evening. As usual, we carried on to 9.30pm or so. Irags left first with the excuse of a wedding he had to attend. Followed by Ash. The rest of us, hanged outside discussing various topics from All India tour, ICE, Scorpios, Safaris etc.. While birds flew by. Some where carrying tattoos in astonishing areas of body geometry! |
