Pune Meetup on 16 January 09

I have a small get together in 'Vir Da Dhaba' this evening with some of my ex-colleagues. And then driving to Mumbai tomorrow morning. The Ikon (in Mumbai) has been giving some problems lately and Dad is the last person who can get things done

.
Back in Pune on Sunday evening. I can meet up if its Sunday evening, but I guess there will be very few takers to that idea.

Dude i guess its pretty much decided that the meet will happen on Saturday night so i dont think the meet will be postponed to sunday.

Alright an exciting update about the meet:

We're going to have an ICE tuning event / competition.

The car on which the competition will take place - Star of the Times AV expo 2008: Our very own Amey's Swift!!

Here's how it will work -

Anyone who wants to take part, PM me by tomorrow afternoon so I can make a list of participants.

Each competitor will get 15 minutes with the car, screwdrivers will be provided, please bring your owen measuring tape (for the time alignment and all)

Amey & another undisclosed member (I'll give you a hint - he's not form Pune) will then spend 2 - 5 minutes evaluating the tuning done on the following factors:
1. SOundstage
2. Time alignment
3. Overall integration of all components
4. Clarity at high volumes
5. Ability to play various types of music (trance, jazz & himesh and most importantly - Amey's favourit song Talli ho Gayee)

Once all the evaluations are complete, Amey will announce the winner - who will then make the same settings again for Amey's listening pleasure.

The prize for the evening - Dinner for the winner wil be paid for by Amey and we're negotiating for Kiran to give the winner a lapdance. (He's not happy with one old monk - he wants two)

Please post your confirmations and suggestions.

Please note: The competition will take pplace during the meet - so please make sure you carry enought tissue to wash your hands before touching amey's expensive ICE setup - his car smells very nice now, we don't want it smelling of Paneer Chilly by the end of the night

Dude, would have loved to participate but my ICE is in a bad shape. Maybe I can get the gurus to figure out how to get it back in order.

Judges? Buddy - you're part of the prize!! We already have 2 judges. We're keeping the identity of the second judge secret so that people don't try to bribe him.
