BTW during the last meet how many were Fiestians-Petrol/Diesel? What was major topic of discussion and how would the Thane BHP gang keep in touch. If someone has collated contact information, pls pass it on so that we know whom and how to contact the gang. The happy faces as seen in the photos told the entire story about the meet.

No Fiestas were there AFAIK. Major topics were cars (wot else?)

and HVK's travel experiences. This was just before his next trip - penned down in the travelogue section by btirthankar and himself.

speedy, Why are you harassing the Newbies? The car belongs to MErcedes and is a Top Secret AMG prototype with a V12 Engine. It was Registered in Silvasa as MErcedes have a Secret AMG plant in Silvasa. The car was given to speedy by me for a TeamBHP likability Survey!

hi cyrus,
if you are talking about a mercedes plant in silvassa, its where i work at. we are the only company there who have mercedes engnes

so nothing secret about it.

I have a factory in Silly Village Silvassa and hence the car is registered there. I live in Bombay.

Me too never heard about it. I knew about the Pune and the Chennai plant.

I have seen that pune plant once and I saw more then 100+ Mercedes at a glance. One of the seen which I will remember my entire life time. You guy's will laugh but I had been with someone, as a driver.

Diesel generators. Ever heard of MTU? Its now a Tognum Group company, but earlier it was Daimler Chrysler.
We also do up Volvo Pentas and Perkins.

Your working for S.P. great going. Daimler Chrysler was connected to the MTU but it was not part of the Automotive sector if i know right. The Auto division is a seperate organisation from the rest of DC operations. In India the plant is only in Pune.

Tempted by the Mention of the V16's and V20's, but i would need a tank to fulfill one dream

Hey guys,
Just checked this thread and went throught the event pics. Im sure you guys must have enjoyed this maiden Thane meet I suppose!!
I too am a resident of Thane - Kapurbawadi though I dont stay there since I work in Dubai.
I have made sure I am a part of the meets in mumbai whenever they gel with my being there during vacations. I could not have made up this meet since I was not there but would sure want to be a part of the pack the next time its planned.
So please keep me in the loop if anyone's making a list of the members.

All the best and looking forward for the next meet.
