Seems you guys had a great drive / meet.

Wanted to come to atleast meet you guys at Chandani Chowk, but could not make it, was tied up in some family function. Anyways, there is always next time

@ abhay: As we stay close to CC (usual assembly point for drive meets), we can always attempt for car pool. Let's use your Indica next time so that we can increase odometer count on it.

@ hkanitkar: Your next post has to have photos, else you should not be allowed to post.

@ Raja: Let me know when you want to swap cars. I also have a small nimble car :-)

I seem to be the last to respond. Was a great meet+drive indeed. Great to meet all the guys in their lovely machines from Raja's granddaddy E Class to Nav75 and Amogh's sparkling sporty Puntos and all the rest in between.
Remember the free and spirited entertainment from the ICE (more like OCE hehe) of the tempo in the parking lot guys? LoL.
How about a Karla/Bhaja meet next time guys?

BTW, we Scorpios - 6 of us from Bombay/Pune - also did a drive (under the banner of the Mahindra Scorpio Yahoo Group) the same place, same day, same time! We went via the toll road and returned via Khadakvasla NDA.

We left Chandni Chowk at 945 am, after a leisurely breakfast at Temghar Dam, we reached Lavasa around noon. No, we did not stop over at Lavasa for lunch, we did a small sortie around the waterfront and then returned to Pune.

@hvkumar - yes we did pass you on our way back ! But never thought of it as a 'scorpio' group on a drive ! Actually i thought they were the Lavasa group cars ! :P

Kenpachigamer commented when he saw the convoy of Scorpios and how strange they looked all driving in uniform. He even said it was like a Scorpio meet/drive.

However, in a couple of pics you guys have lined of on a bridge across the rivulet and parked your cars for the snaps. Generally, it is illegal (and bad manner) to do so.

I could not find the links from Indian traffic rules, but, here are a few pointers from UK and USA sites. It is clearly mentioned that such stopping/parking on bridges is prohibited.
