Mangalore and Udupi chapter: second meet

Is the second meet scheduled for 4th April still on? Our first meet had a modest presence of Team-BHPians but loads of adventure

. Hope more folks will be joining the fun this time.

Before that we have to pick a spot in between Mangalore-Udupi.

My participation is highly doubtful. I will be taking my son to Bangalore and also setting up the house there in the beginning of April.

That will be good doc......very close to me, then we can have lunch / snacks at my home. but only VEG.....
I will be coming on 28th and will look for few places, if any one has any suggestions.....please let us know.

I would like to suggest two places,

1) Panambur beach

2) Rooftop restaurant at Deepa comforts

I will be at Mangalore on Apr 4th, will try to make it any place between Mangalore - Udupi.

How about Tannirbavi beach ? I think lots of place near there specially behind IOC for sand driving. We use to fly kites there.......

Any one can check it out ?

Thanks docap for reminding me this Red Rock resort close to KREC, Surathkal.
I have been there couple of times and its a very nice place for the meet.

Also its very close to the beach, we can try our sand driving skills and my willys 4x4 as well.
