Phew! What a relief that I don't have to write a report, now that NOS and Premjit have done the hard bit.
First and foremost, a big thanks to all bhpians who came along. Honestly, when I had planned the meet, I told Joseph that we'll see meager participation. But I was surprised at the enthusiasm shown by most of you guys. I may have planned the meet, but on that day I was only a spectator to the success you guys made it! Quote:

So ultimately on saturday night it was all about thinking how to get to atleast the junction where the NH6 & NH2 meet. Also in this mix was Avishar who does not have a car so Souvik brought out his OHC 1.3. |
Oh Dear! Saturday night was a real nightmare. We had a situation where there were more people than cars available. Joseph and I must have called each other 10 times, thinking of how to coordinate the cars! Quote:

Heyyyyy! Thats not fair. I was at the very "point" I was originally supposed to be in. Its your fault that you waited at a wrong place! Quote:

When quizzed about the recent auction Bhalla Jr told us that since they were bought on a partnership basis there is some delay before the vehicles come. |
You forgot to mention the 87 Jonga ambulance that we saw. But yes, this was Panagarh at its most barren. Almost no "new" stock to speak of. Quote:

Heard a lot about you from Joseph. Do meet up dude. Quote:

Thanks. I was kinda taken aback. Here I am, in the middle of the highway doing a cool 140 kmph, and suddenly the Black Ikon overtakes me! We must have done about 150-160 kmph together, for about 15 mins before 1100D decided to back out.

Now for some pics from my end: The cars reach the meeting point. 1100D has just played a successful prank on me, so his expression says it all. The cars have just reached Shaktigarh. And Souvik is looking for a place to park. Most unlikely place to have a tbhp sticker The world's first Vanaspati powered car. There were 4 more cans in the boot! Array of Lyangcha shops. The bearded aberration in the corner of the pic is Joseph. Pretty cars all in a row Souvik with the find of a lifetime - two discarded army shell boxes! |
