I am truly very sorry to hear that!.. I Had no way of knowing!

Another member form Coimbatore QUICKSILVER has indicated he might join in too... We might get another couple of BHPians from here - lets see currently its the two of us!

PS: The Mermaid at Vytilla would be a good place to meet up too - its just off the byepass so all the outstation members wont have to drive through the city, and its a good place to meet up. Other options would include the Riviera Retreat or the Bolghatty Palace. Couple of nice places in Fort Cochin (Brunton Boatyard and Malabar House, other than the evergreen Sea Gull) but its a pain getting to that part of town.

Mermaid is fine, gymkhana ( near toch right?) too is fine.

Okey finally had a meet...Me JK and Himanshu met up for lunch had after that went out to check out each others cars..but it didn't end there..







NOW THE SURPRISE..
We saw a gleaming Red Lancer Cedia. We hoped for a test drive but that wasn't possible as they didn't get the TC for that car in TVM. But what we did manage to do is....get us ALL a testdrive of it next week in Cochin!!! And that makes it two test drives in one meet. Here are the pix..(dunno if i should post it here or in the Lancer Cedia thread)

My tuppence worth - Lets all try and spend some quality time rather than just go thru "one round of basic introes - and before you know it its time to leave" stuff.

Considering the next day is a Sunday we could also try and stay back in Cochin maybe.

I dont know if you guys have ever had a party on a "kettu-vellam" in the night! Its awesome... the boat goes all around the backwaters while the DJ belts out some stuff and some potent brews keeps the joints limber...!! Cochin syline@night is awesome!! (- beady eyesight helps!!) The boat costs 700-1k/hr and they arrange the DJ/food/ice/.. and anything else you might want!

Not really...

Assuming we take the boat for 4 hrs thats 3k.. how many of us now... Last count we had crossed 10 right - so thats about 300/head. Budget including refreshments will be around 500/- head. (plus or minus 100)

Moreover its "Different" ..

Dinner!!! Even if we have dinner at 6 or 7..it'll be 11 by the time we get back to TVM!!
