Btw if anyone has a new car in Bangalore, please remove the plastic seat covers if you are parking in a public area. Otherwise it is going to attract these vandals who love spoiling new cars

If the scratch isn't too deep then a good rubbing compound can fix this. 3m /waxpol anything should work.
Or take the car to the A.S.S and ask them to use some rubbing paste on it. Let them try it on section of the car. If you are OK with the results then ask them to do it for the whole car.
My apologies for not updating you all regarding the 915. I was really busy with work and other things and never got a chance to wax the car. Sunday me and a friend managed to wax the entire car! Took us exactly 2 hours washing and then waxing.
Water washed the car and then Applied the wax.
A little warning - anyone using the 915 for the first time.
This thing dries up fast and once its fully dry its very very difficult to remove. We left it for 20-30 minutes and this thing was rock hard. Had to use a lot of muscle power to buff it out.
But take a look at the end result :D Oh Please don't mind the bird poop and dust drops on the roof.

Jokes apart, Wow!!! those pic show amazing result with Collinite-915.
The dark colour really comes up with real good finish with Marque D' Elegance. BTW do you know how will be finish on light colours (tafetta white ANHC) ??
I think I need try 915 when I exhaust with my 845 stock.

Anyways, do get a good trim protectant like Megs Ultimate protectant etc. for the door handles and the plastic trim pieces here and there!
UV is really harsh on those parts as they have no protection from UV!
Seems like I'd have to try 915 pretty soon! :D

Does Collinite 915 come in trigger spray version just like the Collinite 845 ?
Here was the problem, i was facing for a long time, the side plastic moulds running on door sides and bumpers had become white. I tried IPA, etc to remove it but no use. At last, ordered 303 and used it. It solved the problem. Its now back to its original color(Black). I know, at least this is a major problem in all i10 side panels and bumper panels becoming white. So i would suggest using 303.

Collinite 845 does not come in trigger spray, Sohail has fitted some spray cap on regular 845 box.
915 is paste wax, so no chance of using as spray wax. Normally paste wax last better and shine better compared to liquid wax, but will be slightly difficult to apply.
Any suggestions on how to restore the door side rubber strips ? They are white from sun and previous polish attempts at service centers

And HD wax is one hell of a beader as well as sheeter!! One prob with it during spring and current use is, pollen!!!
Since its a carnauba wax, it'll hold up dust and pollen readily onto its surface which will seem to get covered in pollen pretty quickly!
During this period, its best if you use a sealant to prevent pollen probs!(with a sealant, it'll be easier to clean up afterwards!)

Not thinking about the pressure washer at this time, but I shall surely get a multi head pistol grip foam gun with the hose.
And damn those pollens! Here in NC everything is covered by a sheet of green in the spring-early summer. I also have pollen allergy, so got to be extra careful! Thinking about using nxt 2.0 or collinite 845 as sealant.

Yeah - 20 bucks for a small pot of wax! That too in clearance. This thing sells for over 40 in amazon.
Alright finally had the 128oz ONR can shipped and been trying it out for a couple of weeks. Thanks to rk_sans, Garipagol, and DieselFan ! Initial impressions are pretty positive.
Got the 10-pack Eurow double density 600+ gsm MF towels to go with the ONR workout. These are a real treat to work with and quite VFM - 250 bucks a pop. Some of the plushest MF towels I have come across; these pass the CD test, though gotta be a li'l careful with the satin lining. Stacked on the right from bottom to top is the Megs SS, the 3M blue with a red logo, and the Eurow 360gsm.
Great results, Captain, certainly the guys around must be wondering- what is guy doing standing and taking his car pics:)
@ Conoco- where did you get the ONR shipped from? The micro looks plush for sure, did you buy the blue 3M from a shop? Have found the blue 3M to be the best ones for all uses!

I have mentioned my experience couple of posts earlier. I would suggest 303 or Megs Ultimate Protectant.

I can try the 915 on a metallic silver car and let you know. But you will have to wait another month for the results.

The bird poo is there all right but well hidden thanks to the bright sun :uncontrol
Yes Im trying to get them.
Yup the unpainted black plastics have turned whitish already. I tried formula 1's high performance black protectant. Turned out to be garbage, utterly useless.

This thing was pretty amazing, always restored plastics to their original finish and gave them a nice black shine.
Sohail If you like your car to be all shiny and look brand new then the 915 is a must. I was very generous and used a lot even now the tub looks full. At this rate this 1 tub will last me 20-30 waxing sessions atleast.

haha! No Csateesh, the 915 comes in a tub. Even the 845 doesn't come in trigger spray.

It was a lot worse when they saw me waxing the car at home.
Is the poo, a little left of the antenna(in the pic)
^I have loads of waxes already and cant justify buying a new one at the moment! :(

btw ppl wondering and giving weird looks while we are working on the car is common in India!!
I was kinda put off by ppl looking at me in weird ways and neighbors telling my mom, that I'm working on my car the whole time!!! Ultimately mom is like, I shouldnt go out because neighbors would see me and talk etc.
I dunno what the mentality there is...?? but I stopped doing that and moved over to a new place with a dedicated driveway altogether!!! now I can detail in peace!!! :D
