Hi guys, What can I use to keep the outer rubber window sills clean and neat. The window sills on my safari have all this dried up water kind of stains and it just irritates me when I clean my car so what product can i use on the window sills?

Optimum protectant plus or Opti Bond Tire Gel.

Where else to look for Mothers product in India?

carsingh.com contact number doesn't work, they don't respond to emails. I doubt they have mothers polish in stock, tried buying, couldn't get through. Not a positive interaction.Meanwhile, I am still searching for Mothers Metal Polish.

I had ordered MF towels from them and got them after 15 days. Had dropped a mail earlier when i didnt receive the order after a week. They called back after 3-4 days of the mail and said that they would check if the order has come back undelivered, in which case they will be sending it again. Finally got the order but yes the number on the site doesnt work and they dont seem to be placing too much importance to the mails as well. Not a good way to start i must say!

Hi,

Fully automated car wash? In Noida? Well, check this out...:

http://www.autogloss.in/

Got to give it a try, soon!

Seems both robotic and manual options available.

Guys,

This question has been asked before but can't help doing so again! For my Summit White Cruze (22 months old), should I go for Ultimate Detailerz (UD) or 3M HSR?

Please advise! :-)

It's entirely your call. Both the mentioned outlets are very good in their product and service offerings.

Heart says UD
(personal / human touch, obsessive perfectionism, truly technical experts not needing QA by a 'supervisor')

!BUT!

Mind says 3M HSR
(professional franchise)

I'd recommend you try out UD first, if you want to take active interest in the whole process. Mohsin and Nirmal (who works independently now) are very obsessive about getting it right. Also he will send you back fully knowledgeable. I have come from being a complete noob about detailing to having fair knowledge about the whole process.

I did washing (ONR) and waxing (collinite 845) last Sat. Turned out pretty well. Used vasline on tires and they looked wet for couple of days.

Pics are from mobile and taken in partial shade. Please ignore the dusty Enfield in the back. its not getting TLC nowdays :)

Need to order some clay soon coz tar marks behind the mudflaps are not going.

Just to let you know that UD is now run by Mohsin (T_BHP handle mkh) alone. Nirmal is no longer associated with UD and has started up detailing on his own as well. Which effectively means you have 3 options now. 3M HSR, UD or Nirmal. :)

I will definitely go with Nirmal! The guy is magician:)

Go to 3M if u need the paint protection films or those yummy carbon fibre decals or a frosted paint finish ( car vinyl)

But for detailing - Nirmal is the guy

+1 for him, I have seen his work in pics on Ferrari, Bently, GTR, BMW & Merc.

And while interacting with him personally, I found that he is knowledgable on various detailing products and process. I also found that he has updated with latest products & Skills.

I second what has been said above. I haven't tried 3m but can vouch for Nirmal. He does a great job in restoring your car to showroom condition, sometimes even better than that !
You can learn a lot from him and start maintaining your car's finish between detailing sessions by devoting a few hrs every weekend.
