i had posted a few days back about my jopasu duster having lost its ability to pick up dust. Its behaving more like a normal rainbow coloured duster sold on traffic signals.

i was advised to clean it with warm water and let it dry on its own to restore the 'magic' ability. Tried it and it didnt help.

my duster is just about 4-5 months old has been used about 3 times a week. i have read people have used their duster for many more months without any issues.

What did i do wrong? is there a way to restore it or just go buy a new one. Atleast i would want to ensure that lasts longer.

Did you store the duster in the bag?

yes. soon after dusting it went back into the cover it came with.

My duster is 4 month old and I use it twice daily. It is dirty as hell but no problem in picking up dust?

The zip on my Duster cover broke, but I still use it, just can't zip.

I replace my Jopasu every 3 months as I use it daily and it picks up a lot of Chennai dust. I washed the first Jopasu I bought but never again. Once it is washed, it's no longer effective. If you want something that lasts longer, get the Original California Duster.

AutoFresh also has brand-wise combo offers, such as the Meguiar's kits and the 3M kits. Any thoughts on these? Or is it better to mix and match brands?

I'd recommend that you avoid that kit and instead buy a 6OZ bottle of ONR from ECC Bangalore that you can use to wash the Car once a week and also dilute to QD Strength for daily use, if required. It will cost you just INR 600. Trust me you'd be buying ONR Gallon size after that. You can begin with Jopasu, ONR and a few good MF Towels. Everything else can be gradually added, no rush.

Had bought waterless car care product last month and thought I would try it out. Took half n hour to clean the car completely. Here are some pics after the wash. BTW, the car was completely dirty.

I checked out Reliance Mart yesterday and found a Jopasu duster + MF + concentrate shampoo pack for around 800 bucks. Seemed like a good deal. I'll go pick it up today.

About ONR, I can't seem to find it online (it's not on eBay, AutoFresh) or offline (Reliance Mart is the only place I've seen yet). Does anyone in Mumbai know where I can go and pick up a bottle of ONR from?

Thanks!

As far as I know, ONR is not available in any brick-and-mortar store in Mumbai. You can though order online through Bringinbest dot com (Delhi) or Eco Care (Bangalore). Both ship to Mumbai

Could you please share the product name/price/pictures?

Posting my waterless wash. Naveen Raju can post his product. The product I use is called 'Optimum No Rinse' or ' ONR'
It cost Rs.600/- with BB Impex - "sanjay@bringingbest.com" and eco car care - "sales@ecocarcare.asia". Just add 4ml in 1 litre of water and spray all over the car and wipe with MF Cloth.

P.S. I am not involved at any sort of promotion

That is the ONR QD method of cleaning. For washing the Car with ONR, you will need a bucket with 4 liters of water.

The product HighOctane has posted is the same I have. I paid around 1k for them. The only difference is the spray bottle which is smaller. In fact, I washed the entire car and had quarter bottle of liquid left.

ECC is giving spray bottles along with ONR?

I picked up some MF cloth and a Jopasu kit (duster + wash liquid + MF) from Reliance Mart.

I used ONLY one MF cloth to wipe my car clean. No water. No liquid. Just 15 minutes and she is SHINING! :-O

I can't imagine how great she'll look once I give it a nice shampooing and a wax/nano/whatever polish!

MF is incredible!
