Mail Mr.Sanjay for buying options, he got a fresh stock in the last week and I have ordered a couple of Meguiars clay bars from him. Price is very enticing. :D |

Can you elaborate on following Q's: 1. Which technique did you follow for working with rotary? I made 6 passes on each panel. Started at 600, 1200 and then 1500 RPM and then reversed that to 1500, 1200 and 600. 2. How did you try to acquaint yourself with a rotary, since its more difficult to use than a DA? Lots of reading online. However, what you read online and what you end up doing the first time you use a rotary are 2 different stories. I have a Jeep as well and the paint is not the greatest on it so I played around with the rotary on the jeep for a few days. It does take some getting used too and I would not suggest putting it on your car till you are completely sure you would be able to handle it. 3. Which pads did you use? Lake Country. Blue for compounding ( Meguairs 105 ) and the red one to finish (Meguairs DACP). 4. How many pads did you need to use to complete compounding, since one pad after completing certain section becomes redundant due to compound getting filled up? I used one each, that was all I had. After every panel, switch on the rotary at the lowest, 600 RPM and use a toothbrush lightly on the surface, it will remove most of the dried compound on the pad. 5. Did you also use DACP & M21 using rotary, and if so which pads were used? M21 applied by hand using a micro fiber pad from Mothers. Quite a few Q's. Reason for asking, since I too own a black color car and wish to give it a nice paint correction work. Working by hand has been very tedious and tiring. |

If somebody's house is in an area with almost round the year construction all around what is suggested to do to protect the paint surface? If the car is used only alternate day, is it advisable to use a nylon car body cover to protect from daily too much dust cleaning? If yes then does the cover bought from dealership will be good on paint or any other brand? Thanks |
