Limpid,

Get a bottle of WD-40, spray it liberaly on the adhesive left on your dash and let it soak for about 45 mins. Then take a cloth and dip it in hot water and then wipe off the adhesive and you will be left with no trace of it.

Tried this technique on my Santro and it worked brilliantly.

Cheers,
gpa

Polished my car today. Couldnt get rid of the bumper scratches since they were too deep so used photoshop :D

Yes, Colin spray is great to clean dashboards and interior trim. It can also be used on sunfilm safely. As for the usage of the interior protectant, follow the instructions on the bottle.

Raccoon,

Attached are a few pics. Just clicked them this morning, when I finished using the wax :D

From the looks of it, they are two different 3M products.

Gosh... except for the shape of the bottle and price everything is different! Your bottle seems to be like whats shown on the 3M website. Now I really wonder if what I have is a fake!

Seems to be very unlikely that any company will have 2 such products where stated differences are so marginal! Does your bottle look like the one in my pic?

Racoon. I got the same bottle what you have posted from the authorised dealer and distributor fro 3m for whole tamilnadu in chennai. So it is definitely not fake.
It must be two different ones.

Let the pictures tell:) In fact I have two bottles of the same, one bought in 2005/6 from Thrissur having MRP of Rs.71.50 and another bought recently from Kollam with MRP of Rs.80/-.

Got a pic from the 3M.com website for India, here it is:

The older design might be different.

Cheers,

If all these bottles rae genuine, then this is one real confusing show by 3M!

Hi Friends,

Any information, that where in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai can i get the Waxpol Dashboard Polish (1/2 Ltr. CAN) not the pouches that are being sold for Rs.15/-, as the CAN will be more economical rather than pouches. I used the pouch on the Dashboard of My Cars & found quite satisfactory, as well i used it on the Front & Rear Bumpers of my M-800 the bumpers were looking Fabulous after polish & the shine stayed around for a week or so.

Also, has anybody used the Waxpol Liquid Wax ? if yes, request them to post their experiences.

Currently I am using Turtle Hard Shell Wax which i purchased from Rediff Shopping & quite satisfied with it, i searched for the availability of the Turtle Liquid Wax also in Mumbai, but couldnt find any information.

Right now i use Formula 1 Carnauba wash and wax liquid.don't know whether this is genuine or not.

price:Rs.225/-(dec08) from a maruti dealer accessories shop.

for dashboard ,plastics ,bumpers i use com paint high glosscleaner and shiner premium spray.results are very good and hassle free as well. just spray and wipe .

price:Rs.180/- (mar09)through online

:)

It is always cheaper to buy these products from a retail outlet rather than a dealer.

Your Formula 1 wash & wax botle seems to be genuine

how is it? Have you used F1 carnauba wax? How is this wash & wax as compared to F1 wax?

What is effective to use on my Safari bumpers and cladding(unpainted plastic), I have used turtle wax extreme tyre gel before with great results, but now am running short:Frustrati and that i bought abroad, have tried coconut oil but that attracts dirt making washing difficult, what's readily available and effective, with a long lasting lustre?
