It could just be a simple Earthing problem. There's a wire coming out of the Compressor unit and is Grounded to the body on the compressor itself. A brass washer like clip is crimped on to the wire . Many a times this crimping becomes loose and the erractic behaviour begins. Sometimes the place where this wire is Grounded on the body is corroded resulting in the lose of conductivity.
Take it Tobias, behind Garuda Mall. Take a right turn after the mall next to the church, go for about 100 yards and this guy is on your left. The name of his place is Wecool.
