I got happy too soon when the first part of my order was delivered in 3 days. Even things like the Wiper Motor Assembly which was not in stock anywhere in NCR was delivered in 3 days. Now I am stuck with half the parts for more than 20 days.
I ordered the following :
2 X Bumper Brackets
2 X Rear Mud Flaps
2 X Rear Door Stoppers
2 X Front Door Stoppers

I got 1 of each of these things in the first lot in 3 days. After that they told me the balance order went into an error. They say they make Express Orders and normally it comes in 3-4 days. Now they the GAPL, MGP Store tells me that even when they placed the Express order again for these parts, it is shown as a back order. I don't know what that means.

Do you have any idea what they mean by back order ?

An order is listed under back order when it is serviceable by the company, but it isn't in stock currently at their warehouse.

In MGPs, if an order goes under back order, it means it isn't available in stock, and will be dispatched once it is received from the vendor.

In your case, back order should mean it will be imported from Japan and will be made available ASAP. Generally it will take around a month or two(if it isn't in stock in Japan as well).

Please don't put any further orders, as all these spares under back orders will accumulate and it will be billed against your dealer, all at once. Just keep in touch with the store and keep asking for updates.

If you have a lower variant then most probably you'll need to change the slip ring connectors too for the steering mounted controls to work.

Thanks. But is this similar to the carpet that lines up the interior? I am looking for the mat that was misplaced during service. Could you please post the pic here. 282 seems to be very small amount for the mat.
