If I recall right, Shashi has shared the info in the last few pages of the Zen Maintenance thread.

And just an FYI, if you're unable to source it you could resort to getting a one way breather from Royal Enfield, I've posted details and pics of the same in the above thread as well.

Cheers,
A.P.

There are two types of plugs, cap type whose dia is more than the breather hose, and second one is plug type whose dia is smaller than the breather hose. You can use either of them.

For hose:

Part Number: 09352M70113-175
Price per hose: Rs. 12

For Plug:

Part Number: 24821M78000(Plug type)
Price: Rs. 7

Part Number: 27991M79G00(Cap type)
Price: Rs. 4

You'll also need to ensure that this particular hose is secured with the union by a clip. In case you have lost that too:

Part Number: 09401M10301(Available on Boodmo)
Price: Re.1

Hello Leo
need your help regarding these three part numbers.
34600-65J40 (Grand Vitara 2.0 MT)
34600-65J41 (Grand Vitara 2.4)
34600-55k00 ( SX4)

These part number belong to information display for GV 2.0 MT, GV2.4 and SX4 respectively. The price difference between former and later two parts is huge.
My question is, looking at the part numbers, (as the initial 5 digits are common in all the parts above)is it possible to know if i can use the GV2.4 or SX4 part in my Grand Vitara 2.0.

Please also provide the price of 34600-65J41 (Grand Vitara 2.4) 34600-55k00 ( SX4) for confirmation.
Thanks

Initial 5 digits being common mean they are all the same category of spares. For example all rims will start with 43210. All speedometer will start with 34100 and so on. Hope you get the point. :)

Compatibility can only be ascertained by either physically installing and checking, or checking the family.

34600-65J40 is now discontinued. J41 is open for sale(belongs to the same family and is hence compatible) and costs Rs. 3157.

SX4 part won't be compatible and is bit more expensive too, so please don't think beyond J41 :)

Hi Shashi, need your help to validate this:
Car - First Gen. Swift Dzire VXI
Year - Early 2009

Part needed : Water pump belt
Part # (from 60k Km Service): 17521M86500. However, this one is discontinued as per oriparts site

Alternate parts found from Oriparts:
17521M86520 (discontinued)
17521M86530 (4PK827)
17521M86560 (4PK827)

The MGP store person looked up his system and says none of the above are available now, according to him the available alternate part is 17521M75M00

Can I go ahead with buying this ?

The alternate options given by Oriparts are wrong. They don't belong to the family of 17521M86500. They are OPEN FOR SALE but for some other car. Glad you didn't purchase it.

The below mentioned parts are OPEN FOR SALE and true alternatives to the original:

Part No: 17521M75M00
Name: BELT WATER PUMP
Price: Rs. 180

Part No: 17521M75M10
Name: BELT WATER PUMP
Price: Rs. 207

Different prices may be due to different Vendor. Hence MGP Store guy is correct. :)

Regards,
Shashi

Hi Shashi sir,
I ordered the above part for my Swift from Boodmo but received a normal U-hook wiper from them.

Part no. 38340M75J00 that I ordered is shown as rear wiper blade in the "Show on drawing" option on Boodmo. However, their customer care team says that I should order 38340M75J10 instead, which is also shown as rear wiper blade in the diagram.

Thinking of what can be done now as the blade I got is 19 inch, has a metal frame and fits nicely at the front. However, how smooth is Boodmo's return and refund process if I wish to go that way? Paying 285 bucks for a single wiper feels unfair as I recently got a set of Bosch Eco for 300 odd bucks from the market. Other members can also pitch in.

Blunder of Blunders. This is why I say "Oriparts and Boodmo aren't 100% correct".

Return of Boodmo is pretty good and smooth. No hassles there.

You needed the rear wiper blade assembly for 2014 Swift, am I right?

75J00 and 75J10 are same family parts. Not sure how can 75J10 fetch you rear blade. Try it if the guys at Boodmo are so sure.

Yes. Checked at MASS but they don't have the wiper assembly in stock. For some reason, they are quoting Rs. 700+ for it which makes me think that they want to change the entire arm instead of wiper assembly.

Here's a picture of my 10" wiper assembly:

Yes they're quite sure. I will ask them to send me a picture of the part from their inventory.

.

That is the price of wiper blade plus arm assembly. 6xx plus labour.
