Check with your MGP store once. The actual state is that its production has been halted but there might be left over stocks at MSIL warehouse.

Can anyone confirm if that can be fitted and what will be the cost?

Not a straightforward swap.

Regarding timing belt cover, try if this fits: 11390M76A01. It's MGP and is shared with EECO/1.3L engines and costs just Rs. 195. If not, the part number recommended by Maruti is 11390-71C00. I am somewhat sure that the MGP part should fit. If not, the more expensive SGP is always there.

1. 17521M75M00(Rs. 190)
OR
17521M75M10(Rs. 215)

3. Yes, your info is correct. :)

Regards,
Shashi

Is it ok to go with MGP (Valeo) OR do you recommend any other manufacturer parts outside ? I thought there were concerns about quality of parts from Valeo ?
Also, any other parts related to clutch that may need replacement ?

This info is great, eventhough the MASS already gave order for SGP, the WM there also gave order for the EECO MGP one from his curiosity to check the compatibility, also the lead time for this part(MGP) is very minimal compared to SGP.

Will update once it's done.

Thanks Shashi.

Dear Shashi,

This could be a tough one...considering XL6 is a new car, are the below parts readily available with MGP :

Suzuki connect :
Wiring Kit for XL6
Mouting bracket for XL6
Nexa dealers are finding it difficult to find the Mounting brackets with MSIL

Once you do replace the O rings make sure you clean the area properly to identify if the leakage has stopped completely or not.

Replace the gasket/o ring and the issue should be fixed.

The oil is still leaking after replacing the O-Rings.
Like said by scorpian, I think I should put additional sealing looks like. Should I get the O-Ring replaced again to a newer one? What is a grey bond? Are you talking about M-Seal?

Buy anabond Grey which is oil and high temperature suitable.
Now clean the mating surfaces completely. Apply anabond grey like a gasket and let it cure for say 20 mins before fixing it back. It has to be one seamless joint, a microscopic gap will also let the oil leak again.
O ring need to be of good quality and not spurious. After putting the mating surfaces together let it cure over night and don't use the car till then.
This is how I have stopped oil leaks at distributors for all my zens.
Hope it helps.
Regards
Manoj

Try to source Ceekay/Exedy components from aftermarket. DBHPian Parag and other experienced chaps prefer Ceekays for petrol Marutis.

Also check gear shift cables.

Absolutely no idea. Suzuki connect can be sold only via dealers since they are subscription services. Sorry.

For such applications, Maruti has this:

Small Package:

Name: ANABOND 676 (25 GMS)
Part Number: 99000M24121-022
Price: Rs. 55

Larger tube:

Name: LIQUID GASKET(THREE BOND-1215) 100
Part Number: 99000M24120-331
Price: Rs. 300

Larger tube is used to join flanges of gearbox housings, so should work for your purpose IMO.

Regards,
Shashi

Is the outer cover of the Swift wing mirror available as a separate part? This is for a 2005 Lxi.

Thanks.
Will try this if available, otherwise will go with MGP.

Would you have the part # handy for this ? It's a 2009 Dzire VXI.

Thanks Shashi.

The Eeco timing belt cover has reached the MASS and according to WM it is identical to the Baleno part :thumbs up. As the SGP part is already in transit, he is in a view not to go with Eeco part to be at peace of mind post-fix.

But I must say the price difference between MGP and SGP is quite substantial. These kind of alternate options is quite a relief, really appreciate your efforts Shashi.

If it's absolutely identical then there is no reason to wait for SGP. The workshop chap is pushing for SGP as it will become dead inventory with him. Anyways, its your call. Take a decision after comparing both the parts closely. :thumbs up

Thank the parts sharing which Maruti does. People often crib about parts sharing like power window switches or engines. What they don't realise is the easy availability of spares in the long run, which old car owners appreciate. :)

28300M75J00. It rarely goes bad, so get it checked just for the sake of getting sure.
