i have seen a Mach 1 revv hard in a casino basement ..it was so loud that we had to shut our ears as the car was passing by us ...initally we all thought it was "that yellow viper" ...anyways ironically we ourselves were in a 2004 Stang V6..

but i'd still say a Viper GTS is louder ..i dont look at TV experience because they do go through certain degree of AV enhancment ..
man i have ran blocks jus to search for the screaming growl ? of this car jus to find that the car was a mile away from me ,and when it finally drives by its madness unleashed ..

Yeah, that part in which it screams off after a few delicious blips is amazing!!!!!

250GTO makes a sound so full of soul and so complex, I got really emotional just listening to a sound clip of it, god knows what it sounds like in real life!!!!!

I think as far as brutality goes, Lambo V12, Chevy small block V8, Ford V8, MOPAR V8, and Merc supercharged V8's are the most scary. Oops nearly forgot the Cosworth-developed V8 in the old dinosaur V8 Vantage ( not the present 'baby' Aston).

From what I've personally heard:

A Lamborghini Murcielago with a Scuderia exhaust package was by far the most distinct noise I've had the honour of listening to.

A Dodge Viper SRT-10...another VERY good sound. An SLR, with that turbocharged V8 is SWEEEEET.

In fact, the Diablo and Countach come next, followed closely by a 'revving' Gallardo.

A Nissan Skyline R-34 GT-R, when charged, can create some nice noises!

Lastly, a Nissan 240SX (haha), which was rather tuned up, to produce a lovely hum.

the appropriate word here will be - "some nice MUSIC"
amongst the tuned cars i fell in love with this 300zx bi turbo which i used to see a lot a year back ...truely melodic ..

Looks like a real junkieman car to me. Nevertheless, 10+ years on, and they still have road presence to a high degree. Vroom.

The tests show the new car to be faster, but even if it is close...
It's much easier to extract the performance from an NA car compared to a turbo.
