Best sounding, eh?

Out of the cars in the list...I would have to agree with the Lambo models (not only Diablo), although I've never heard em in person...only Lambo I ever saw up close was parked

I see a lot of Ford Mustang votes, and I do agree with them wholly! I've driven a friend's 'Stang in the States (a 2001 model)....he was a pretty experienced mechanic himself so he had that thing fitted out with a full free-flow system and a few other things (that might not affect the sound). Sounded real nice even at half-throttle. The new Mustangs (2005+) and especially the GT versions have beautiful exhaust notes as well.

Out of the Indian-market cars:
Kudos first to my Ikon 1.6 with K&N intake (not just filter, boyz) and N1 muffler. I find myself working hard to keep FE up since revving her is so addictive! I wonder how free-flow headers would sound in addition! (Anant @ N1 says they're considerably louder )

And I would have to say the Skodas....esp. the Rider! I just love the whistle of the turbo as those cars glide by

Right now, it would be the Pagai Zonda F, the Enzo, the F430 (not a match for the Enzo and Pagani though), the AM V8 Vantage, tje Lambo Countach (heard it on Top Gear)...

Indian cars, as vezj said the Octys (turbocharged ones) sound superb with the turbo whine.

The Mustangs from the 60's sound the best... I also like the G35 coupe..it has a pretty good roar when it takes off..

I havent heard any of these supercars...

:(

Of the Indian cars, i agree with the padmini... was a nice sounding car...

Right now, though, am in love wit my wagonR... The way it sounds after 3.5k rpm to the redline (Not comparing with any car... But since i drive my car, my cars exhaust note is what drives me... )
