the lamborghini diablo's v12 produces the kind of sound which may be used as a benchmark by any other supercar manufacturer.

viper's v10 is good but no patch on that v12 beast in my opinion

anyways ... i voted on this pole judging the loudness of the cars engine ...
Vipers are freakishly loud but i agree one must look at the europeans for the melody ...

Ferrari 360 Modena

I drove a 360 Modena with Tubi exhaust last month.
It was the best sounding car that I have ever heard... bar none.
I've heard plenty of sports cars around the track, but nothing to match
this 360

U have not included the best sounding car in the world in your poll- the Aston Martin DB9. The V12 kicks a**. No one can resist it.

How come you don't have the Aston Martin V12 on your list? That's the best sounding car in the world.

There are many omissions. We cant have all the cars. So many others have to be included if we have to have a proper list. Better just to post each one's opinion.

My friend had a CD of car noises. The best by far was the BMR V16. It’s a 1.6 liter V16 with no mufflers

I beleive it is the audio CD containing sound clips of the cars owned by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason that you are talking about. That was released along with his book ("Into the red"? I dont remember what exactly it was called).

No I don’t think this is the same. This CD was recorded by some racing company in Britain and he bought it at the Isle of Man. I think it must have been recorded at the Isle of Man. It’s an audio CD
