Got both front struts, strut bearings and strut mounts changed on my 1.10L run Fiesta. All original OEM parts. The previous struts had given up fully.

Now the strange problem is that suspension thuds/bottoms out when going over speed breakers at 20-25kmph. This did not happen before even with busted springs. What could be wrong?
Check tie rod ends, lower arm ball joint for play. Hold the wheel at 11 o Clock and 5 o Clock position and shake to and fro vigorously. If there is a play in the wheel then it is mostly the lower arm ball joint.

If you have not changed the lower arm ball joint for a lakh kms then it is better to get them changed since they would have worn out in our road conditions.

Also better to replace the link rods/stabilizer rods and stabilizer bushes.
