Does anyone have a part # for this? I'd like to pick up the Denso part (or close enough) from the US.

Will the O2 sensor for a D15B7 engine work for the OHC?

This should work:

AutoZone.com | Shopping | Parts | Product Detail - Oxygen Sensor

Its from an OBD-I (pre-95) civic 1.5L engine. I'm not a 100% on that though. This is based on a purely anecdotal report of what the sensor looks like from my friend who has a City back in India.

I think I'm going to buy this -- uses the same socket is 4 wire and was used on the 1.5L engines (actually was used on most engines of the 90s)

Denso 234-4099 - Denso First Time Fit Oxygen Sensors - JEGS

Are you sure its a 4-wire? If so I was wrong then. That's a great price. JEGS is fast on shipping too. Go for it!

Hi KSM,

Any idea on how much does the last one ( DENSO C5010-100896) cost?

This is the one that comes stock from the factory.

Cheers
Shrey

Hey Friends,
I need to change my oxygen sensor for my Hyundai Accent 1.5
Currently, it has a malfunctioning 2 wire sensor. Can i fit a universal 4 wire sensor with the 2 heating wires connected to the ignition? because i know that upgrading to a pre-heated 4 wire sensor will improve fuel efficiency and combustion.
I am told from the around the corner section of the forum that it would cost me Rs. 3000 approx (NTK brand).
The technical question is whether are all the oxygen sensors of the same fit and size, such that a universal sensor can do the job? or do i have to go in for something which is specifically made for a Hyundai Accent 1.5? Coz my mech says that the oxygen sensors come in a universal size and i can buy any model which preheats at 12 Volts. The universal bosch sensor in this thread seems to me like a great buy to me, provided the size etc is not an issue.
Can you please confirm this?
Thanks! I plan to get this fixed by Saturday, hence please respond ASAP. You can call me at 9900239781 if you wish!
Cheers!
