Mine is 9 years old but ran only 65k so far. Seems perfect and ever since I changed the tyres to Michelin XM2 205 65 R15 tyres..the stance has improved and the ground clearance has improved in the process, car has been a joy to drive ever since.

My situation was somewhat similar. Under 42k in seven years on m VX-AT. So I have passed it on to my son in Gurugram, and expect him to put up at least 2025k in one year. I have his City AVN instead.

I need to replace wipers on my Civic, which aftermarket brand is recommended?

I went for a set from Syndicate (official OEM supplier for Maruti Suzuki).

Costed me INR1100 but completely worth the money as their sweep is totally noiseless and cleaning quality is top notch.

Also tried searching for Bosch (flat blade type) but couldn't find them anywhere in Noida.

May I ask is there something wrong with the wipers? As you can easily get the wiper rubber replaced at HASS under INR 1000 for both sides.

Mine, a V MT just completed 7 years this March and I completed 25K kms the day before yesterday. Still on the Michelin PLCs that I changed the next day of buying the car in exchange for the OE Bridgestone tires. Has never failed to bring a smile to my face every time I sit behind the wheel.

Wipers rubber is hardened and i can see trailing lines when wipers are in action. Soon in rainy season it will cause major issue.
Current wiper blades are aftermarket, 2 years old.

I remember replacing the wiper rubbers at HASS more than 3 years ago for 1600 INR including labour. The brand was MITSUBA which is the OE for Civic.

I am impressed by the manner in which you have maintained your cars. Congrats and great work. clap:

Only an owner who really loves his car(s) can keep em glowing after 8-10 years. I hope to share pics of my car (an 8.5 year old Altis) with you chaps some day albeit in the Altis thread.

I follow this thread regularly as I consider the Civic and Corolla/Corolla Altis as 'sisters from different mothers' :D

Couldn't resist myself as well from posting recent pic of my baby... 10+ years old with 1.38 lakh KM on odo. This was clicked few months ago when she was ready for a family wedding.

Well, techcoze, colour me impressed. 1.38L kms! Wow! clap:

BTW just in case anybody wonders I am an ex-Honda owner so yeah I can relate to your feedback about service and support. Had a black Honda City Type II in the early 2000s. Too bad the local HASS in Pune (only one back then) was a PITA to deal with at that time. :Frustrati

Compared to yours, mine is like a bride that got hitch just yesterday :)

She will be 8 years in 3 months with 48K run. And She will soon run and retire to the farthest NorthEast state you can find on the Indian map.
