She will be 8 years in 3 months with 48K run. And She will soon run and retire to the farthest NorthEast state you can find on the Indian map. Attachment 1639437 Attachment 1639438 |

Looking at your car, it is my end goal as in how I want mine to look like and exactly was I was telling Kunal about. Just 2 queries.
a) Did you had ground clearance issues post installing side skirting?
b) Where did you got the boot spoiler installed (any leads) and for how much.
If we are all showing off...
My first born, with my second born. Back in 2007, a week after we got the car (yeah, I'm one of those who don't take all the new car paraphernalia off), on the day we went on a day trip to Kone falls:
And a recent pic. This was in Kerala, a few months back. As you can see, the number plate has changed (an idiot on an Activa with the rear footrest unfolded ruined it).
If I didn't know better, I'd say the car was smiling at the photographer (me).

You can easily get that subtle 'look' without going overboard with few accessories. You can also debadge to give a clean look.
a) Had the skirtings since 7 years (painted twice since). No major issues in NCR. Just minor bruises on the front skirt (bottom part) on parking lot. With the rubber lip added, it kisses the road on descending steep incline. Recently had installed the Rogerab coil spacer on both front and back, anticipating the upcoming epic journey (Noida to Imphal). So, hopefully it should hold out pretty good.
b) The spoiler too is 7 years old. I think i got it from performance zone (patel nagar) for 12K (mine is carbon fibre insert in middle.

May I ask is there something wrong with the wipers? As you can easily get the wiper rubber replaced at HASS under INR 1000 for both sides. |
My HASS does not stock the Civic rubber. I am sure this is true with many of these chaps.

Hi Professor,
As far as I am aware, fee months back both Pearl Honda and Ring Road Honda (Gurgram HASS) were having wiper rubbers readily available.

She rides on 17 inch shoes for a couple of days until I get the OE size alloys cleaned and repainted. They're in pretty bad shape right now.

Needless to say yours is also a well maintained treat to eyes. clap:
Specially liked the eye brows. It seems one of your window visor is missing.

Yup, it's been taken off as the 3M tape was starting to age. Will have it fixed alongwith the mudflaps which have gone to be painted white. This week is dedicated to giving her some attention. She's off to the HASS tomorrow for a leaking coolant inlet port and the roof weather strip replacement. If they have the serpentine belt available , I'd get that too replaced.
Placed an order for a Mann Hummel cabin filter for 1834 bucks from Boodmo.com. It has a long delivery time and most probably will be imported. Filter is not available locally and had tried spareshub.com and they said it’s not available with them. They were giving a alternate generic one but I refused same. Also Altech filter on Amazon is not available anymore. Will be receiving the filter next month and also get to know how Boodmo’s service is.
edit: just call from them asking for Vin no of vehicle.

I am in Kanpur and the local chap did not. I gor some stuff from the Net, and than passed it on to my son along with the car. The blades did not fit. So I guess he must have got the inserts from Pearl, as he is in Gurugram. In fact the local boffins were not stocking Synth either.

Pearl Honda did not have them in stock in March . Had to get them online .
Hi All,
the rubber moldings which are present next to the roof weather strips have perished (kindly refer to the red arrows in the attached pic), has anyone experienced the same issue and a solution would be highly appreciated. please:
