I too am feeling uncomfortable over that. I am looking for the 5w30, A5/B5 oil. If I could get away with filling 300ml less, I will go for a 3.5L pack. |

This one seems to meet your requirements and is available in 3.5L and 0.5L cans: https://www.total.co.in/our-products...uartz-smc-5w30 This one too, and is available in 4L: https://www.motulzone.com/products/p...ls/4100-power/ https://www.amazon.in/Motul-4100-Pow...6&unfiltered=1 Another option is (have used their 15w40 oil, pretty good): https://www.gscaltexindia.com/produc...il.aspx?PID=24 https://www.amazon.in/GS-Caltex-Synt.../dp/B012RTWFTK Online stores won't have much variety in terms of packaging. Better to visit a brick & mortar retailer in your city. Cheers, Vikram |

The total only seems to say 5w30 no information on the ACEA spec. Only mentions API SL so it is an old oil for gasoline engines. The Motul 4100 is ILSAC GF4 - I am not sure what cars in India come with that rating, but the API SM spec is again a very old spec for petrol cars. The Caltex is API SN / ILSAC GF5 again only for petrol cars, and the back of the can seems to confirm that. If you want 5w30 A5/B5 oils take your pick of whichever 5w30 ones are listed here. https://www.amazon.in/s?k=a5%2Fb5&i=...f=nb_sb_noss_1 If you're feeling rich get one 3.78 liter can of this - https://www.amazon.in/Amsoil-WV01RCA...dp/B00EXBSLBC/ |

Drained the shell 5w40 and poured Mobil MGDO 15w40, and the clatter dramatically disappeared, post oil change. Don’t know whether it was the oil grade issue, or the Shell Helix Ultra from Amazon, was spurious. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Please share your views. Which 15w40 brand should I prefer, is Mobil MGDO ( Maruti genuine diesel oil) good enough, any other options. |

Hey, how are you finding the Amsoil compared to Delvac? It's time for me to change oils for my Isuzu D-Max and I was considering this. I'm currently on Delvac 1. Thanks! |

What grade are you on. I just got Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 Fully Synthetic after a Liqui Moly Flush at 15K km. The primary reason was to address the engine clatter and also I had read some great reviews of the oil on PIVOT. The clatter has subsided enough to be discernible but now I have a nagging thought that I changed the grade from a recommended 15W40 to 5W40. The service manager here, a Raid de Himalaya veteran, tells me maintaining the 40 is important cause it is the viscosity at running temperature and with the winter(W) part of the grade you can go down a couple of grades. |

I want to order engine oil for my Diesel Ameo. I tried finding the engine oil specification oil online and couldn't find one. I want to know whether Delvac 1 can be used on the Ameo? P.S - I have bought Idemitsu 5w30+ 1L mobil super 3000 for my Figo 1.5D and have decided to shorten the service interval. |

In Mobil you need 5w30 ESP https://www.amazon.in/Mobil-5W-30-Fu...dp/B00SFNNTSE/ - it shouldn't be a bad choice in your Figo either. |

:thumbs up I have placed order for 4L+1L of the oil you had mentioned. I was having a vague notion that Mobil Delvac 1 or Motul 8100 would be the best, good that I was able to get this info. I would try to synchronize the service timings for both the cars so that two cans of the oil would be used up completely without wastage since the Ameo requires 4.3L and the Figo 3.78L . |

Thinking of trying this oil for the Ford: https://www.amazon.in/Mobil-Super-Fo...=Bajaj%3ASuper This meets the Ford WSS-M2C913-c spec as per manual. I didn't find any other oil |
