I recently bought Betz (1998 W124 E220) and I totally love her. I found a good example with only 224500 KM.
==================
I just had an Idea if fellow w124 owner want parts we can get together and buy the parts in Bulk and have them shipped to India. And My uncle owns a E500 in the states so he knows where to get the parts.

Dear manikjeet,

If you can manage to source the parts for our 124"s,then I too am game for the purchase of them as I am in the process of rejuvenating my E 230 with some fresh parts.

Guys, I am after alloys for my tank, pls let me know if you come some good rear examples originals in 17 inches

The after market Taiwanese stuff should cost around 10K or 12K, but after having gone with the cheaper option, I regret it as during the winters, there seems to be a build up of fog in between the laminate. The original will be twice the amount, but probably worth it.

By pollen filters, I assume you mean cabin air filter. In which case, yes. It's right above the AC motor.

I recently ordered a Windshield for my car its Taiwanese and it costed me around 5k all inclusive and I know its of good quality as I ordered through my Dad's company. They manufacture SML Isuzu buses and the Quality department head gave the go ahead.

And fellow W124 interested in the ordering parts can give me their list.

One more question my car rear antenna is not working its dead so can i install any local brand. will it work or I need a original one.

Universal Antennae can be made to work

5K is quite cheap; did you even replace the seals?

PM sent for the parts

Hardly any good ones Varun; i am on the hunt for a year or so; there are AMG replica available in Delhi for 50-60k but not worth it

i think the only way is to get imported

Even i was told that it will cost around 5k. Was wondering if it was true. The sealent will cost 800 for a pack. We might need two of them as its quite a big area.

I dont think it worth to buy AMG alloys in india. They are priced so high to justify.

Yes the glue kit is for 800, but I will have it done on the assembly line form engineers for a proper fitting.

Menon sir can you please explain me in details what do you mean by gaskit for the windshield. And I have gone through your list pf parts I will update you for the same.

The rubber seal under the chrome trims; also the rubber trim below the windscreen that gets attached to the weatherstrip on the wiper cover

Do you have the part no of the same?

It's going to be really difficult to get. You're better off using a high quality bond/glue that sets like a rubber seal once it is dry.

That will do on the top but what to do about the wiper cowl?
