What can I do to fix this? Really annoying in my E220. It's the steering contact ring for sure. Thankfully only comes up while parking or at parking speed, but it's plenty loud. |

I cleaned mine, quite easy. Make sure you take precautions to ensure Airbag does not deploy. Removing the steering was tricku, but doable. Lubed and cleaned the contact ring. |

It's been cleaned, but it was a while back. I don't think it was re lubed. What grease do I use? Shall I just use synthetic white grease? |

I have Yokohama C Drive on my car in stock size. They're excellent! Comfortable, with plenty of grip. |

OK, time to put on new tyres. Choices are Yokohama A Drive or Continental? Any pros and cons. Sticking with stock size 195/65/15. Thanks |

My 300E has A drives, but those aren't the stock size. E220 has C drives. Both the Yokohama's get a little noisy at speeds above 130. But otherwise can't complain. C drives lasting really well. Easily looks like a set that will last 35K kms with ease. Not particularly expensive, so there is that too. |

I got Yoko AVS DB V550 in OE size, expensive but great tyes. I earlier had 205/65/r15 which gave a better stance but I feel the steering is much better with OE. |

Get the radiator serviced. In Delhi, they take the radiator out, unsolder the top and bottom tanks, clean the tanks, check the pipes for leaks and seal them. They also check pipes for blockage and clean that if feasible. Then they assemble the radiator and check it for leaks. This assumes that your radiator is copper and not steel. Once done the radiator is good enough for at least five years of trouble free service. |
