But usually most after market fog lights are H3. Meant to be more powerful.

h8 and h11 model is the same nothing is different in these two so you can look out for any one of it

Yes, physically they're identical and swappable. Where these bulb differs is in wattage, H8 is 35W intended to be used as fog/aux driving lamp, and H11 is 55W and also used as headlamp bulbs. Higher wattages are available in H11.

What is major difference between H1 and H7 ? Both of them have almost identical ratings for Watt and lumens ?

Almost all Maruti Suzuki cars with single filament headlamps come with H4 for hi/low beam. IIRC, the bulbs are common across almost the entire range.

Sorry, My question had lack of clarity. I wanted to replace the stock bulbs.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I changed to Philips H4, But didn't touch the fog lamps, I wish I could do that too, But budget didn't permit.

The CR-V until 2004 used H4 for both low and high beam and HB4 (9006) for fogs. The 2005+ CR-V used projectors for low beam (D2S I believe) and HB3 (9005) for high beam.

Rgds,
I have my Altis' low beam bulb in my hand and it reads HB3 9005 / 12 V / 60W ECE / 65W SAE.

On a side note, what is the best place to find a replacement bulb in New Delhi? The dealership quotes me 8.5k for one bulb!
