Can someone please share details about the lights in a Renault Kwid?
Unfortunately the owner's manual does not have any information.

1. Headlight (High and low beam)
2. FogLamp
3. Turn Indicators

What I could get from the internet:

• Headlight (High and low beam) - H4
• FogLamp - H8

No idea about the turn indicators.

Thank you very much Navtej. I had also raised my concern to the Renault and this is what I received in return.

Headlight - H7 - 55/60W
Fog Lamps - - 55W
Turn Indicator - - 5W.

From the forum I understand that H7 is single filament and here the makers are suggesting H7.

Pretty much irritated to learn that the the makers themselves do not know what they have provided

EDIT :- Just saw one video and there its mentioned on the back of the headlight that its of H4, 60/55W. So one confusion resolved.

Goodness! That surely is irritating. For the details of the fog lamp, the best way would be to open the fog lamp casing from behind and check the bulb specs. Should not be a difficult DIY. Though from the picture is looks like an H8.

More mysteries. Just took the snaps for the fog lamp pairs under the hood and they are way off from what was suggested by the service center.



Can these be the fog lamp bulb configs?

Will then post a query in relevant thread for suitable options of upgrading.

Yes, this should be it. Having it mentioned so clearly is good proof. I cannot understand why is it that Renault could not give the details required. The wattage mentioned by them is just too off.
