ECU-remapping / Chipping

A delhi based company remaps the ECU of Octavia RS. Guess what? now the company claims that the RS in now a 190bhp RS

Also, with remapped ECU, the power can be increased upto 25% for turbocharged cars! and torque by 8-10 %.

i guess one would lose the warranty of teh car, but this modification doesnt need any add on kits or sort. just plug and recode teh chip!

Hey dude the RS is actually a 180 bhp car which has been detuned to 150 so a 10 bhp boost isnt really that gr8

well there is an octy thats running 235 bhp with a ECU remap..

tell that to skoda guys

even their new rs is just 200bhp

well actually the skoda guys did visit the stall and when they were told that they would get a RS for 235bhp they ran away

actually they were asked to give a RS as a demo car to setup the remap but they refused..

hey dude remaps for the opels are not yet developed in india..because these engines are very difficult to tune..and more over these remaps are for turbo petrols/turbo diesels only..u can try sourcing a piggy back ECU though..

thanks for the info. i thought pete's was a plug and play box.

could u enlighten more abt it like what type of cars can have a pete's at heart, price ( 30k for merc right?) etc.

i have a santro xing and i think thers no point nor a pete's box of small cars..right?

The tuning boxes are for the diesel cars and we have the remaps for Skoda RS, Superb petrols. In fact from next month we are getting ready to do the mercs and Bmw's petrols.

Will keep you guys informed,

The remaps for the Skoda RS which we now offer can take the car to 200 bhp without any other hardware change on the car.

PJ, Hi
Custom code does not have boost controllers. They just have the smoothest most powerfull remaps available. I have used both REVO and CC. The difference is really mind boggling,

Hey Pete how long does this take, what does it cost (for and RS) and can it be done in Mumbai? Also wife's Corsa Sail 1.6 could also use a kick in the pants. Advise would be welcome.
