Congrats Sam(R) for the new addition! As usual, your writing style leaves one wanting more..

I'm guessing the Pepper Gray got the upper hand as we men seldom win colour arguments with our ladies. Also, it looks a lot more regal in my opinion when compared to the bright red.

TheOne has good taste (yeah I know we've established that already ) Pepper grey is a super colour and I was cursing VW for not offering it on the Vento.

Being a satisfied Skoda owner, I thought you would be ending up with the Fabia for TheOne. It remains a mystery to me and hope you will throw some info on why the Fabia was not considered.

Congratulations on the excellent choice. VW has really upped the ante in terms of the quality what we had been used to especially in the hatch / small car segment.

Am sure TheOne would have never been satisfied with the flimsy jap/korean build.
