Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

The 2nd service experience has been good. minor niggles sorted out like loose footrest, fallen front mud flap ( all this is a result of the terrapod event). The ODO reading is now 5800km . The beast performed well during my recent trip to Munnar , including a night drive from Munnar to Mysore .

How is the plastic/interior build quality holding up? Any squeaks or rattles? What is the rpm showing at 100kmph/120kmph in 5th gear? Is the new gearbox and VVT engine smoother? How is the wind noise at 100+ speeds?

Interior quality is good , no squeaks or rattles. Rpm ranges between 1700 - 2200 . Gearbox is smooth and car like . At 100+ I can still listen to led zeppelin and dire straits. Hope this helps.

The territory manager from Tata motors requested me via mail for permission.

Looks like i saw your Storme in Bellandur area, sometime last to last week. It has LTD at the back. Also i believe i saw it in Kormangala with a lady driving but could not check the sticker. I am still undecided what to buy and will wait my time until i am willing to part ways with one of my cars.
