Re: Driven - Audi Q2! Unveiling & Review

Updating here after a really long time, just past the first major service that my car has gone through, at 60000kms. It's been a great journey right through, it's possibly the best car i could have hoped for the price it came at, which is passed easily today by mediocre indian made SUV's. I'm currently at 61200kms and at 3 years and 8 months, I think I've driven it a fair bit to have an opinion on the car. It's been driven everywhere quite literally, the city, the traffic, crowded streets, open and crowded highways, expressways, hills. It's shone everywhere, the ride is a bit stiff, the turbo lag can get you in D2 but once you are past these, there is no looking back. There is no, read no better size to power combo that can beat the stability, poise and do it all things this car does. To top it all, it gives me 13kmpl all the time with 19+ at sane highway speeds all the time. My daily commute is just 12km but almost 30-35% of this cars kms have come on the highways where there is nothing that beats it, you can drive it sedately, can rev the nuts out of it, can corner it on your favourite ghats, there's a smile on your face guaranteed everywhere.
My car is under a 7 year warranty and 5 year service plan with only one free service left, apart from these the first time I paid Audi was at 60000kms for Rear Brake pads, a reasonable 9200₹ and I expect the front to be changed at the next service, for an automatic with a big engine and awd, I feel these are great figures. Audi service has been exceptional when I've stood with the car in the first three services, this time though they missed their point multiple times, I had to give feedback to deaf ears, so will most likely change from Audi Delhi South to Audi Gurgaon or Delhi West next time around.
Had changed tyres from Bridgestone Turanzas to Continental UC6 at exactly 44000km, grip is similar but puncture resistance is much superior, Turanzas still has life left but one of them burst and I decided I had had enough of them. I don't think this set would last the same though, but I've balanced and aligned only once since buying, i believe in not touching it if not wrong and the car tracks dead straight till date.
Rear seat experience is underwhelming but in my case usage is like 1% of the times. It's a great car for my purpose and I've ran it to Lucknow twice, jaisalmer twice, ahemdabad twice, agra 4 times, mumbai once, himachal pradesh once, punjab once and many other 200km highway day drives. It's been a heck of a partner, just needs 95 octane fills and goes to the moon with you.
That's it for now, would post more often, a few pics for now, would detail it soon with ronnies garage special coat. Likely to post then.
