Lovely car. If only Mitsubishi-HM had the brains to bring this here. But then again, they're sitting on their brains.

Nitin. Nice choice. This Lancer has the prettiest nose.

Ignoring the list of features the car on its own with the MIVEC is a sweet deal, did you get it for around 20$ ? With all those goodies and the Rockford Fosgate badging on the dash just makes me green with envy.

2008 Lancer in India? Dream on boys ~ dream on. Remember HM still sells something called the Ambassador.

Wondering how this beast would look in yellow.

Congrats Nitin.

On the contrary, I think Mitsubishi just went back to the last generation Galant for inspiration - to me this car looks so much like a nicely updated version of the older Galant.

Gotta love the look of the new Lancer! Congratulations Nitin. Just ensure that you use the car for a long time else Mitsu resale will kill you in the States.

I had created a thread (New Mitsubishi Lancer. When will it come to India?) in March '07 hoping that HM will launch this in India. Sadly, HM is just too busy with the 60 year old Amby, decade-old Lancer & a poorly marketed Cedia.

I should not have asked.

Looking forward to that thread.

Congratulations Nitin, that's a fantastic buy! But why Silver?? Why not that deep Red they have in the EVO press cars?? It looks even more gorgeous in that!!

Nice car, Nitin !
Would be great if it was available in India as well.

I love the treatment they have given to front. As Steer said, does seem inspired by the Galant.

Just a passing thought, why doesnt Mitsubishi bring in the Colt to India?

the looks are killer!! Congrats nitin, you already are blessed for the whole year and years to come.

This car can simply take over the mantle in india just with the looks. No doubt the car will be a great performer
