That's GM genuine accessory for AVEO and UVA which is available at Showroom at cost 2k for the set at dealer fitment with body colour. Thats the complete cover over the original mirror body. So once fitted exactly looks as mirror body. Looks good . You get 1 yr or 10k km warranty for all accessories.

You may get it outside as well but what I found was they just have the indicator strip which they stck to the mirror body and there is no warranty available.

Magnum has integrated Turn indicators.

Wow, thats a great news. I need to check out for my Aveo. I was requesting sales person for this. but he said wiring and other complications are there and hence its better to go without the one and I did the same.

Nice pictures Firebird. The car looks really nice in that colour. Even the dash has a fresh feel to it. Nicely appointed interior. I dont see a " I love my Chevy" teddy bear anywhere. Have you planned for the ICE yet? And why are you not posing with the sales people?

Mjothi,

Let us know what the GM guys say.

I understand from Firebird's post that they are covers (with the integrated indicators) which simply fit on the existing mirrors and can be painted to match the Aveo body colour.

From snippets on the Net, I believe that installers scrape the wires leading to the fender indicators and wire the ORVM indicators to it. Does this violate warranty? However, I suppose it if do it from GM themselves, it will not?

Thanks Dippy....I feel the dash is not that bad...has big feel from inside with good fit and finish.

Yes I did get the lazy "I love my Chevy" teddy...and I will post my (another lazy human) pic with lazy teddy and chevy...

About ICE, now have basic sony Cassette CD and MP3 with sony speakers in all default locations, not cutting shutting done till now on parcel tray. So currently the sound is adequate. I can noway compare this to the Palio setup.

My plan is to install the standard size components and a mono amp with Sub. But still I am hesitant as I somehow fill that the installers screw up sometimes somewhere and introduce rattles which I had seen in my Palio 1.6.

The fendor indicator still works...so there is no way they have disconnected the fender indicator wire and turned it to ORVM indicator. I do see a small length of wire exposed (very small) below the mirror. May be I will cover it up with a black strip.
