this'll be stage one.for stage 2 you can contact shuvd.his 1.8Tpi is an awesome stage 2 machine.
petes would be great, but would it further improve the 0-100 timings?
however i'm planning to do this only after i'm throughly used to my car.

As for remapping the car.. I think it is too early in the day for that. You have as it is "Post graduated" from a City to the RS, so I think your need for speed should be well taken care of for the time being.

Once you get totally used to this car (or get bored with it) - you can consider the remap then.

Autopsyche is the dealer for the Pete's box & the remap. I got my
Skoda deisel remapped from him.

Nice to see you are enjoying the car !!!!

Cheers
advice taken big bro
so how's been your experience after getting the remap for your skoda?

well dude the 0-100 timing will drop drastically.i remember our own forum members posting a 6.XX second dash.now that is fast.search the forum on RS threads.you'll get wealths of info.also the tuning boxes and remaps from petes are the real deal in increasing the power.these are not those fake surboes ,those fake boosters etc.this is the real deal.and you will see the difference.contact autopsyche.he might be able to give you a test drive of a stage 2 octavia RS.

@ Ashish

I am totally happy with the remap !!! It takes the car to another level WITHOUT affecting fuel efficiency (which I haven't figured out how)

This is totally reliable & increases driveability.

Cheers

well gave the car for service to silvertone, najafgarh road, last sat and the car was delivered on sunday. They dint allow me to go beyond the customer's area, so could'nt see the car after it was connected to VAG.

The overall experience was pretty bad, they damaged my car's touchscreen and now its not working at all although the player is working fine. I've written a formal complaint and will follow up with them soon.

The interiors or the car are more dirtly after i got the car back and even exterior cleaning was not upto the mark. The staff there is OK but when i pointed out the screen problem everyone was playing the passing game. Next time i'm not going to this dealer for sure.

Car Experience:

Life's been really hectic these days and its been 3 weeks since i got my car and have hardly covered 100 Kms yet but hoping to cover more kilometers from now on.

Well but those 100 kms have been quite an experience. The car is just 'Wow' in one word and the car pulls like a dream. The surge of acceleration is so much that the car just flashes and you really have to be careful to maintain control of the car. Overtaking others is effortless and honestly speaking the car has no competition. It really needs lot of patience and maturity specially in cities in order to drive this car safely.

And that whistling noise of turbo..well what to say, its sweet music to ears and very addictive. This car guarantees adrealine rush everytime and anytime when your desire.

Pros:

the agressive and good looks attracts quite an attention from crowds.

The engine which cannot be described in words. To top it all its an audi.

Build quality and materials used is absolutely high class. The doors are quite heavy and close with an assuring thunk. The car runs and feels like a typical german.

Interior quality of the car is remarkable. It feels like it will last a century.

Those spider alloys look really menacing and gives a very sporty look to the car.

The car comes fully loaded with features such as xenon lights and moonroof/sunroof. This really adds up to the ownership experience.

The car offers good visibility allaround and all the pillars are comfortably placed. This truly adds up to the driveability and makes it a great driver's car.

Rear parking sensors are real boon and reversing the car is a breeze

cruise control seems to be quite an exciting feature but havent experienced it yet.

the boot can swallow a city!

Cons:

the ashtray cover is quite filmsy and looks like it will break easily.

ride is quite firm but i like it, makes me feel more connected to the road

legroom at the rear is non existent but who's complaining.

clutch and steering are quite hard to operate. but i guess heavy steering helps to keep the car planted at high speeds.

gearbox could have been better with shorter shifts, i missed slotting 3rd gear few times.

Cheers!

Stay away from Silvertone at all costs, even if it means servicing the car yourself! And if the rumour is right, they won't be Skoda dealers for very long, Sept/Oct. is when their contract ends.

I have very limited experience with Skoda dealers Ranjit, but try Continental, they're supposed to be better than Silvertone.

P.S. Your location still says Vanilla!

Somehow never had this problem when I've driven it (missing the slot for 3rd). As for the shifts, you could think about getting a short shifter in the future
But drive the car for a bit now... you need more than 100 kms to form an informed opinion. Have fun dude... you've got a terrific car!
