I do not think wheel covers have anything to do with braking performance. Brake assembly is far away from wheel covers.

These wheel covers won't. But some after-market wheel covers could block air and lead to the brakes overheating quicker than normal.

Just noticed this now. In one of the picture odometer reading is 058504. I assume the last digit is after the decimal point. That would mean its 5850.4 KM or 1,05,850.4 KM. Thread starter said the reading as 58000 KM.
Am I missing something?

loving_alaap, that's an excellent deal you got. The car looks to be in excellent shape for it's vintage. You got an OHC for the price of a Zen!!! Congrats and wishing you happy motoring with the OHC for many many years.

Your assumption applies to the trip meter and not the Odo in this case. In the pic, note that the last counter is in a different colour to denote this. So the Odo reads 58504 KM (pretty much what the thread starter had said).

the odometer reading is 058504 first digit is 0 as odo is 6 digit and it will become 1 on 1lac km

Thanks to all.

Well, after 4 months of usage, i am loving it even more.!

No problem at all.

Not spent a single Rupee on it (Except Fuel & air!) (thinking of changing headlights, after few suggestions in the forum, Gurus please suggest)

FE around 10KMPL (to be frank), mainly used in city for short distance (100% AC on).

No rattles at all (even while passing on a speed breaker with a reasonable speed)

Well, really wondering Why I should take a small car, if My new OHC (So old) is going great! (Gives me Status, comfort, luxury from the amount I cant buy even a new 800 )

3 cheers to OHC!

Yup, Odometer in the pic was on 58K not 5.8K or 1.58K.
