See after 7 days of booking I still don't know the date for delivery. After escalating this to TKM level, I got 2-3 call backs from Toyota Customer service and Galaxy customer Service Managers but no update yet for date of delivery. Still the sam song they are singing from day one, 15-20 days for delivery. Not sure why its difficult for a dealer to tell when he will going to deliver the vehicle, considering lot will come from KA and it usually takes 6-7 days in tansit. Considering that in might my Innova must be in transit now, but why these guys not able to tell.

I think production is slow. I suggest just wait and see. More pressure we put they might sell showroom/Test drive piece.

May be they are reworking on changing headlamps to crystal clear ones LOL

Ravi.

Yup you are right, but unfortunately or fortunately they didn't have any V model 8 seater in Grey Mica color in any of their showrooms in Delhi. Even it was not on next list of delivery. Anyways no option left, but have to wait.

Might be a good idea to add "Reverse parking sensors" on the Innova. I have those on my Innova and they have been very useful in tight parking situations.

Other than that enjoy your new car, sam003

The VX model already has the reverse parking sensor as factory installed.

Correct me if I'm wrong

Yes in VX model they are factory fitted.

Just wanna know does it make sense to go for over and under body coating. It really help or not. As I read somewhere on net, underbody coating is not required and for paint protection, it hardly stay for few days in Delhi dust env. What do you say guys ?

Hi Sam,

Good choice in going for Toyota Innova. I have a G1 since June 08. I am enjoying every moment i spend in driving it.

Enjoy your ride and drive safe.

Best Regards/Satish Prabhu
