Planning to get it done today, as due to weekly off for shops nearby didn't get the size in other shops. After that contacted Yokohama Corp office, they gave some dealer number, but even that person has weekly off on Monday. So planning it today.

Lets see not sure if I go for windscreen as I have other members too who will drive. Specially for my Dad he really feel uncomfortable with side sunfilm, not sure if he can drive with windscreen film (light or dark doesn't matter). But Side definately in few days.

Tyre looks good and saw some minor difference in drive though in short run from shop to home. But too early to place my judgement where will post review after first Highway drive.

I am not fan of dark Sun Film, Will see if like 50% clear I will go with that on sides but No for Windscreen. Will take final call after seeing demo from 3m guys soon.

Ya I was pretty happy with service Nitin Electronics (Dolphin dealer) gave me, he send the person at my home to fit that according to my requirement. He took 4 hours for this. But overall satisfaction was there in his work. I highly recommend both dealer as well as these seat covers to follow team members.

For tyres I went to Tyre Cottage in front of Gautam Motors in Gujarawalan Nagar North Delhi. He is the only dealer in North Delhi. Mr Narender Dua is very helpful and finish my work in an hour.

I have completed 110 km so far in short city drive. But really amazed with handling of such a huge vehicle. Comfort is uncomparable to any other MUV in this segment. Newly added features like steering mounted controls, Multi Information Display and Automatic Climate control is really worth for Such Size. Once you close windows, its really silent cabin. A person like me who is driving Diesel car for the first time, it makes no difference for me. In just 4 days I don't feel like driving a such a huge vehicle.

For those who are looking for family car, this is best choice (I know its too early to comment )

Hi sam,

Congrats for owning one of the beautiful family vechile "INNOVA". sam, i am in the same position as you were a year back, even we are planning to own a family mover in another 1-2months..we visited vijay automobiles in hosur road bangalore to test drive the xylo..i had been there with my father, he initially felt the vechicle was looking ok and said that it similar to tata safari. Then the sales person explained the entire features and specs of xylo dad got bit impressed and we asked the sales person for a test drive. We felt that xylo was really comfortable inside and lot of cushion and lumbar support offered in the E8 version, we really felt like we are driving some beast..TD was done and when we got down from the vechicle, dad was in a shock after seeing the much loved xylo's rear and said what nonsense is this he told me that he not interested in having one even if it is given free of cost...

Then we thought of going to Nandi toyota show room was close by..then as soon as entered the show room premis we came across the TD vechicle parked right beside the gate..then took dad near that TD innova to explain him what all new features and cosmetic changes have been made..he got really impressed seeing the facelifted innova and said toyota is toyota.. then we entered the show room there were 3 variants parked..VX,G4 and Nandi special innova which was the G4 model with some additional features like side skirtings, parking sensors with camera, front chrome grill, mirror cover with led light, mechil tyres 225/60 R15 with toyota alloy wheels...

Then we asked the sales person to explain the additional features which this facelifted innova has got..to our bad luck there was no sales persons related to innova, there was one guy who was a sales guy for altis..initally he started well but later on started to fumble...he said that this new innova has got 186mm ground clearence, i showed the Broch to him and asked why is it mentioned as 176mm here then he had no chocie other than laughing..

Since we are planning to go for VX model we walked close to the VX model and started feeling it by our self's and started explaning the entire features to my dad he was really impressed..with that features..dad had a dought weather a person can comfortably get in and out from the third row if we go for 7 seaters..so we teasted it..but as dad said it is bit difficult to get in and get out from the third row seats...becasue the bucket seats in the middle row cant be folded completely...it stops at 45 degress...

Then we asked him for the test drive, the TD innova was the same color as yours it was a VX modle with 7 seaters..i drove it some where around 4 kms up and down put together...and used all the function on the streeing wheels explained dad about that...

Finally it was time say good bye to the sales guy..while coming back the sales guy gave us the quot and the Broch to us..below the on road price in bangalore for all variants of innova...

The seats look real nice. Fit and Finish is excellent.
Are these put on the original seat cover or was the original ones removed to fix these?

Sam, front windshield sun film is 100% clear not dark. It is clear film so will not be a problem for anyone.

Also could you please post pics of the whole car with the new tyres. It will give a good idea how the stance changes with nice wide rubber.

thought even if you get 75% sunfilm you cant make out the difference. and it also reduces the glare to a certain extent at night.

sam and somashekar you might wanna check out my review in the long term section.

Sure as of now planning to go for sides only, but definately consider front too after a while. And whole pics will post in day or two.

See 3rd row is used mainly by kids, so they can easily pass through the gaps between two captain seats.

Moreover for how many members (adults), were you looking for. If more 5 or more adults I would recommend to go for 8 seaters. I twould be easier for adults to sit and relax in one long seat rather than in captain seats. Rest just go again will all members or call to have TD at home and check it again. Pay time before rather cursing afterwards.
7 - is more meaningful if you have only 4 adults. That's what I can say.

I don't think so, but didn't tried it yet as never driven in night so far. Will check tonight and let you know.

Thanks for u prompt and speedy reply sam.

Usually its 4 family members who travel together. Then i feel its better to go for 7 Seater itself. Sure, update me tomorrow about the steering control switches tomorrow.

Take care.
