Got Indica Vista Aura Quadrajet Anniversary edition

Hi Friends,

I have been a long time silent spectator, but now I have also joined the league of Indica Vista Aura Quadrajet - anniversary edition. Bought it yesterday from Delhi. The delivery process was seamless and I was mighty impressed by the dealership - Aone Motors, Barakhamba Road.

More details to be posted soon.

Thanks.

Congrats! Vista Anniversary is a very god looking car!
Wishing you happy times ahead.

Btw, you seem to have gone against the current and sold a Swift to buy a Vista. Do share your reasons behind the decision.

He has made the right decision. He has got excellent resale value for his VDi as there is a mad rush to buy the DDIS.
Use a car for 2 years and sell it at almost no loss(probably a gain? ) and then buy an even better car at lesser price!
Whoever said cars are a depreciating asset

Thanks a ton

To All,

Thanks a ton for the wishes. Well, my primary reason for selling Swift VDI was lack of space, the car was amazing no doubt but my thighs were always locked with the steering and long drives caused my legs ache a lot as I had to keep them stiff in one position.

Yes, I got a great re-sale value for Swift VDI, I had kept her beautifully. Always got service done on time.

For Vista Anniversary edition I had to actually bug up a lot of dealers in NCR as there is no discount as such on Vista. I planned the strategy to call up near closing of year and there is always a rush to sell the cars and impress the company. So I got a total discount of 32,000 in cash.

Usual on road price in Delhi: 553000
Final On-road price for me: 521000

Got foot mats, mud flaps as freebies. Dealership was very good. Didnt face any issues. Car was very well PDI'd. I would click pictures tomorrow and upload them.

Vista has enormous space in comparison to Swift, it has better torque and car feels soft while going over bumps and potholes. AC is as effective as it was in Swift.

Present modifications done:

* Nippon central locking/keyless entry
* Sony speakers
* Garware Film
* Seat Covers are ordered and would be coming in 2 days ( I needed a specific combo/pattern)

If you need any other details let me know, or PM me can help you out.

That's a lot of discount
Is it because it was 2008 model( But then i don't think anniversary edition was available in 2008..)
What kind of persuasion did you use?!

Are the stock speakers in the car not good enough( As per my knowledge anniversary edition comes with Blaupunkt music system..)

Being a Santro driver for last years, i am so very used to the dead pedal. I dread the thought of having to drive without it.. is there any way of installing one in Vista.

Thanks and Warm regards.

@aniyahr,

The car is 2009 model, manufactured in Feb 2009. I checked it by decoding the VIN as described in the forum.

Stock speakers are good but they are in doors, I wanted speakers to be oval and on rear parcel tray. Yes, it comes with blaupunkt system which has very good reception and awesome bluetooth connectivity and bluetooth streaming option too.

Persuation techniques I use are showing loyalty to the dealership by stating one or more customers I know who have bought the car, then corporate discounts etc. It took me 2 days to persuade various dealers and then close on one.

Thanks
