Xplora,

Beautiful, majestic! The superlatives do not end. I hope you have a driver, who will keep the car shining and glossy . I have a Black SX4 and keeping it clean shining is simply impossible.

Thanks. Black sure is stunning, if u can keep it clean all the time ..lol. No there are no scratches on the bumper its teh reflection thing.

The dealer is Universal Aspi, from what I know they are rated no. 1 dealer of Tata in India in a few parameters. My experience with them was good, their Sales Manager and the owner (Aspi) both are nice, but like everyone else, had an issue with the delivery schedules.

what upgrades are you planning on the Linea and any news on the ice? In terms of integrating the Blau HU, amp with the ISO cables?

Linea in Latina land - Brrraazil..

hi everyone,

Its been a while since I posted stuff, was in Latin America couple of weeks back, and let me tell you Linea is Big out there. So many versions. I drove one of the 1.4 T-Jetters briefly it was nothing like my Linea ( 1.3)..

This T-Jet is an enhanced version and has 152bhp, and you can feel it, revvs like crazy and all the "underpowered" is reversed. There is another 1.4 tJet with 120 bhp or something, I dont know how they got the 152 out of it. They also have a "flexfuel" version 1.9 with ethanol / alcohol manufactured there. They also have advanced Blue n me, I dont know if its launched in India yet, SatNAV is built into it and its pretty cool, takes voice commands for address inputs etc.

Now my question:

Has anyone has accessorized their Linea, I am planning to be in Latin America in 3 weeks again, I need to know if I get all the visual upgrades etc. from there, is there a massive duty on it ? Secondly, does it void warranty in any way ?

I wish I had gotten the pics to post here, I forgot the chip in NY on the way back. Will try to get it somehow.

I don't think anyone has accessories mentioned by you here in India. SatNav without a good database of Indian cities will be more of cosmetic value. Actually launch of accessories for Linea is eagerly awaited.

I would so love to get my hands on the steering, and my right foot on the throttle and command those 152 stallions to gallop!!!! There are a few who have accessorized their Lineas such as Sunilraj and ghostrider, mainly cosmetic/visual,and nothing mechanical. Do look up their threads.

Any updates on the ICE front?

Will surely look up, the one I drove was with spoilers all around and projector lamps etc..looked like a rally/sport custom version to me, so was intrigued to check out if someone did upgrades, there were mech updates as well to the car.

ICE front, not yet dude, havent found the time to even go to the dealer after our last conversation...infact havent taken out the car for a decent long dive, I hope to do that in Diwali..but if I do anything will definately keep you posted, might check out if somehting is there in Latin Am.
