Wow! That made a good reading. Sorry to hear about your ordeal with your truck.
Specially when you looked up to your love/truck.
I wouldn't be wrong in saying except for Maruti, almost none want to be a returned customer to a TATA and Ilk. There are exceptions.
But, Congrats on your SX4 purchase.
So sweaty truckers are out and men are back is it ?

You went for the man amongst cars on the day gay rights were upheld by HC.

Jokes apart, would you please put a brief comparo between Baleno and SX4? Your likes and dislikes?

Oi, Lawyers are not paid to tell long yarns - they better be precise.

The Tank is still puny compared to the Safari (add to it the fact that it is a hatchback masquerading as a saloon and that leaves it nowhere). I do not think the Palio qualifies, it is tough - yes, but a tank - no.

Cheers,

Congratulations buddy,
The SX4 is a great car (you do get an SUV type of feel, especially with the drivers seat fully jacked up).

The only thing you'll need to change is the tyres as the stock ones are quite loud beyond 60kmph. Apart from that, Suzuki gives almost all the bells & whistles as standard equipment and that according to me is the best part about it .

Sure thing buddy- gimme some time to rack up a few Ks on this so that I can get a fair idea.

First impressions though suggest that the sheer sportiness of the Baleno is missing....SIgh! I miss that baby- the only ex-car of mine that I miss till date.

Himanshu, Congratulations on the SX4.

Very well written on your experience with the Safari as well as your quest for its replacement.
